  1. You should set the front harder than the back to compensate for the weight spread. Will handle a bit better
  2. I've got Wolf S36's. 18x8.5 (235 tyres) on the front, 18x9.5 (245 tyres) on the back. I forget the offsets though, Lachlan would probably be able to tell you; eh Hank? I don't have any good pictures of current fitment, this is the best one I have: Wow it was truck spec back then... I have since lowered it right down so the guard is almost tucking rim. At the moment the tyre sits about 2mm inside the guards with the lip rolled. And that's with the camber I'm running without adjustable arms. When I get adjustable arms, they will sit very flush. Plan is to get 235 tyres stretched on the back so I can fit them
  3. His drift car? Isn't that green? Would love to see pictures if it has been resprayed or a different car entirely?
  4. Ha, last time I had mum in my car she yelled at me for hooning at 1/4 throttle Wasn't even on boost yet. Safe to say she is now banned from my car My semi-slicks were pretty mud during the off-street racing at Powercruise, all wheel spin. Was my first effort at drag racing though, so my terrible driving skills probably didn't help They go hard around the track though, very grippy.
  5. Kermit Kermit Kermit.
  6. How old are the tyres? I've got the same issue with mine, it's because the front tyres are about 4 years old now and they don't locate on the rim very well.
  7. I got my Turosmart Compgate-40 for $330 which is fairly cheap. It wasn't so much about money for me as performance and compactness.
  8. Because for what you pay for them, they aren't THAT much of an improvement. You pay around $1500-$2000 for a secondhand kit, where for similar money you could get a brand-new Wilwood 6-pot kit or similar with warranty etc.
  9. Eh, $200ish depending on value of the Aussie dollar. I got mine for $185.
  10. Haha yehhhhhh, I've got 235's on the front of mine which sit almost flush. Lowered the car a bit too much for a car show and they did an excellent job of rolling my guards
  11. Well camber is controlled by the camber arms not the coilovers, so correct they are not camber adjustable I have mine set on 25-front 20-rear for daily driving. I like the spine-jattering For the track I usually soften it up a bit.
  12. Looking forward to this
  13. Yep. Although with a 15mm spacer I used 57mm studs and they have plenty of room, so unless you need a 20mm spacer I'd say 65mm would be a bit long. Unless the Kando flange is thicker than the HG flange, I don't know.
  14. Yeh the AEM's are supposed to be self-calibrating.
  15. Can't do it with the AEM's
  16. Yehh I might have to, will have to wait until the new year though. Ah well, thanks for your help mate
  17. Oh no no, the VE table is the Volumetric Efficiency. Basically the primary fuel map on the R34 ECU can only go as high as 14.7 as the whole map is flagged for O2 feedback and it can't be switched off. So when tuning the cruise AFR's without O2 feedback, you set the cells in the primary map to 14.7 and then trim them using the VE table until you get your desired AFR. Will try to find someone with an AEM UEGO near me, don't know anyone off the top of my head though.
  18. Not in WA. Just needs to be secured at two points.
  19. Yehhhhhhhh they can. They can do you for whatever the hell they want. So don't get pulled over.
  20. Was the weather or panel being sprayed cold? Often happens when the paint gets cold, it comes up as a matte finish. Had a similar problem with my car when I sprayed it, luckily it can buff up to a nice shine
  21. Weak. I'm running 6-flats. Just gotta be careful to not blow out the welds in my intake. Or the rivets in my floor pan...
  22. Yeh cruise AFR's have been set up with the VE trim table, it was all working fine... I don't think it is heat related either, as even when the motor is cold my wideband is reading very rich. It does usually run a bit richer when cold, but never this rich. I have a feeling it's a stuffed O2 sensor. Very disappointing, has only lasted about 5000kms and 3-4 months
  23. Assumption is off NIStune with no narrowband O2 or feedback. It doesn't feel any different at all, it feels fine. I was driving on the freeway for almost 2 hours, I didn't feel anything change. At the start of the trip things were fine, by the time I got home my wideband was saying I was running stupidly rich.
