  1. Sorry to hear but that's why p platers shouldn't have powerful cars, I had a modded 33 on my p's and I know now I wasn't ready for it even though I thought I was, not having a go at you or anything just my perspective
  2. Just had the same problem, bought a fresh 26/30 with n1 pump, when I pulled the pump off to fit a tomei the n1 pump was fitted on a narrow drive, can't understand why someone wouldn't do it upfront for the cost and piece of mind
  3. Would be the first thing I bought if I had a gtr, should go quick
  4. They look like they do so that's all that matters
  5. Mine looks quite similar in size to a Garrett t51r which is. 72 comp housing but t78 has 2.75" outlet, pretty sure the 17cm is around. 82 and the 22cm is about 1.10
  6. I've got 26/30 in 33 gtst also, heaps of clearance
  7. Are the stories about it being stolen true:-(
  8. I went to put a tomei oil pump on my forged 26/30 to find it hasn't had a collar installed when being built so I'm putting the head on a standard 30 bottom end with t78 and e85 and going to see how far I can push it while I save to get the good bottom end ready to go
  9. I threw a few gates belts with my metal jacket on my 26/30 between 5/6000rpm with 330rwhp went to Bosch belt and haven't had any more issues
  10. Please go and make a ve fronted vl Monaro with a fully worked, cop chipped Buick 3.8, then you can sell it for $25,000 because it would cost someone else more to build one than buy yours
  11. By the time you've bought another engine and box 3-4k depending where you get it, clutch if motor doesn't have one 500, fuel sender 50, as well as fixing wiring and all the little bits and pieces need to get it running properly as it sounds like a hack job and time to reassemble everything you've spent 15,000 plus, not including the effort to go and source everything missing, anyone can by buy a half decent unpacked s15 for that
  12. Mine are 10" +25 on rear but would like to go 17 or 18 with semis as might be looking to get a bit more track orientated although nytskys 33 with the drag wheels looks awesome
  13. From experience not cameron's bodyworks unless you want to pay for it to be done again by someone else, so there's one less for you to look at
  14. It has the 40th anniversary seat badges and the front bar and spoiler were options
  15. What about tuned performance, former Godzilla motorsport mechanic and seems to be getting a good rap so far, if Dan from erd's still building engines on the side I'm sure someone can put you in contact with him
  16. When I first found my wheels for sale I the was looking for 33s with them fitted and pretty sure I found a pic of yours, looks really clean
  17. 235/30/19f -245/30/19r from memory, no scrubbing guards are rolled pretty well
  18. Where the can sits isn't a problem there's enough space there but if you look up the breather on the bottom, the gap between where the tube ends and the top of the catch can is very small compared to the surface are of most breathers which seem to be about -16
  19. If it's a Sri catch can there's a hidden breather in the middle on the bottom. Don't know if it provides adequate venting capabilities for a modified engine as the openings very little
  20. Maybe I'll turn my 33 into a convertible and fit a Lamborghini door hinge to the roof, actually if I did it right I could use the roof as a spoiler for some crazy downforce
  21. Probably best to go a c32b from nsx, not much torque for getting off the line easier and powah of vtec for the top end in case your mum tries to race you in her Volkswagen kombi
  22. Looking to grab a set for my 26/30, they don't make the rb26 270x9.25 anymore and I think they had a 30mm base circle but not positive
