  11. ive always loved supras and skylines, and i will be in the market soon to buy one, but reading some topics on aussie car forums, alot of people saying on that forum, if ur getting somthing thats an import turbo its hard to maintain and they fall apart. (mind you it seemed like most of these guys had xr6's and v8's) i know pretty much everyone on this forum has a skyline or the like, but whats your verdict on the reliabilty of the import. cheers

  13. Hey peeps, i have a few questions that i want to ask, i am 18 years old living in brisbane and am looking to purchase a skyline R34 GT-T 1998-2001 or supra 1996-onwards(probably skyline) probably non turbo because of the laws as i am on my green P's. i currently drive a mitsubishi lancer 2.0ltr 2004 model 1. Where should i look when trying to find a skyline, should i go to motormanimports and ask them to find me one or should i look on carsales etc and what year model is the best... 2. what minor upgrades should i get to stay within the laws( i want full body kit mayby exhaust etc...) 3. i travel from logan to sanctuary cove(goldcoast) 5 times a week once in morning then back in afternoon im trying to decide wether it would be chewing to much fuel for me... 4. Should i mayby wait until i have my open license and keep my current car and have my skyline as a weekender or drive a couple of times a week? im not looking to thrash the thing around daily.. i just want a neat shmick car that turns heads and that i can give the occasional boot full! any help would be great sorry for a heap of questions. cheers
