Forgot to mention it's a 1994 GTR32. I cant really describe the sound, but it's screeching to the ears and it's not like the normal/usual belt slipping sound that you get. Probably a mix of screech and grinding sound. It happens once I turn on the A/C. Stationary, on the move, on cold start up, when the car is warmed up - Same noise. I'm sure it's the A/C. But dont know what. The belt appears to be running too. I havent tried if there's aircon blowing out cos the sound is so loud, once I hear it, I would turn off the A/C immediately. If the A/C is not on, the fan blows out cold air or hot air depending on the temperature I set it to be.

Hi guys, I have encountered this very very loud noise when I turn on my A/C. It's so loud that people walking on the streets will turn their heads when I turn on my A/C. Anyone has encountered such a problem?

Hi to all, I have got a '94 GTR32 and apparently, whenever I change from 1st to 2nd gear, upon releasing the clutch to 2nd gear, there is a big "knock" on the gearbox. As in I can feel the vibration and the impact from 1st to 2nd gear when i release the clutch. The clutch is supposedly an original nissan clutch. It happens all the time when driving normally on the road. Can it be a gearbox mount problem? Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have a question: I did a search and noted that the compression of a good condition RB26DETT engine should be about 165-170psi. I am currently looking at a car with about 145-150psi. Is it normal? It's a 1996 GTR33.

Hi, I did a search but can't seem to find an exact answer to my questions. I'm looking at buying a skyline from NSW. The car would have a NSW RWC with it. 1. What do I need to get it registered in my name in VIC? 2. Do I need to get a VIC RWC again? 3. Also, since the car is not rego-ed in VIC, when driving back from NSW with an NSW rego, do I need to apply for temp rego from Vicroads? 4. What should I be getting from the seller in NSW? i.e. What kind of documents? Sorry for these questions as I'll be relocating to melbourne for work come end June. Thank you.
