quick 33

first off id like to say welocme to SAU qld ;-) mud is right i think after ya done the mods you will have a nice lil sleeper but i think you might be selling ya self a bit short when ya said 300hp , im runnin somthin very simler to you in my r33 . i got t04e on modifide hiflow manifold , 750cc injecters and running 35mm external gate thats been plumed right back to the bend ( for better flow ) and with a good tune and my safc2 dialed in right i got 400 rwhp neway good luck with it cheers ...... ;-)

thanks boys , what an awsome responce . some good advice on both ends of the scale , seems like it wont here to run it without a bov @ least for the short term anyway. maybe we should find out just how many of you out there are not runnin bov and find out just what they think bout it . hit every one up and see what they think. cheers shawne ;-)

yeah man i get ya now , so is there any one out there that can tell me for sure that removing the bov will defanitly cause damage to my turbo ?

sorry about that i ment that the turbo is externialy gated and why is it that if you run a bov into atomo , its illegal ?

hey people , im currently doin a few minor mods to my 33 and i was thinking of removing the bov so that i get massive turbo flutter from my brand new t04e that im puttin on it and i was wonderin if , by taking off the bov will damage my new turbo? . cheers shawne

well when ya think bout it everyone in here has 1 thing in common " there car " and im pretty sure that if you put the time , effort and wrench work into somtihng and then some povo fu@k thinks that he can just flog it and get away with it ...... then they just gotta deal with what is dealt out.

im actually in maryborough QLD ( so just down the road for you) and i was thinking of taking it to Brad Smith in hervey bay , he tuned my first r33 i had and it was moded to the hilt and he did a pretty good job of it unless you no of some one in my area that is better ?

ok nice so i found out that it is coming out of an r33 rb25det 5 speed manual ( the same as mine ) but i also found out the that the car its comming out of is heavly moded ( he used to race it ) so will the tune thats in the pfc @ the moment get me to the tuner without breaking anything cause even though my cars moded its nothing like the car its comming out of ????? thanks.

hey people i just got a quick question ? , iv got a r33 series 1 and iv had the chance to buy a apexi power fc that is coming out of a series 2 and i was wondering if it can be remaped to suit my series 1 and if so can it also be set back to defalt for a retune ? can someone help me please ;-)
