  1. As it is so original, and in mint condition, and they have ceased making 35s, I am thinking of keeping it original (not even going to do the English conversion). On the other hand, I am looking at Quadzilla mid pipes, Cobb units...
  2. All good! The wait from purchase day to delivery day was about 3 months, but it felt like an eternity! It's interesting driving a 35 again after over a decade away. In some respects, it is still surprisingly impressive but in other ways, feels quite dated. e.g. the gearbox back in the day was a revelation, but by today's standards isn't as impressive. I'll try to make a driving impressions video.
  3. Here are a few photos. The car is auction grade 4.5B and a genuine 1 owner car, as far as I can tell... It has a full service history with only 31,000km in it. I'd love to put a midpipe and tune on it but I am thinking that I'll retain its originality.
  4. I can be grumpy! After owning one of the first GTRs in the country, I was bitten by the nostalgia bug and started the hunt for a GTR again. While I could have bought a car locally, I wanted to experience the search for a car in Japan and bidding at auction. The above videos document my experience to date and hope forum members find them interesting and informative. I was after a low mileage, completely stock car in the launch colour and am pretty stoked with what I got!

  6. Hi all, I have been a member here for years and am back to owning an R35. It's my car and thought members of the community might enjoy sharing my journey. I am definitely here to join the conversation. If sharing this content isn't appropriate or it belongs somewhere else, I am happy to have it deleted or moved...
  7. Here is the 'How to' video on importing a car from Japan:
  8. Hi all, I have bought a JDM R35 at auction in Japan. This is my second JDM GTR after owning one back in 2009. I have made a couple of videos that may interest some forum members. One is collecting the GTR from the compliance shop (and seeing it for the first time) and another on the process of buying and importing a car from Japan. I'm new to this and would appreciate your thoughts, as well as a subscribe!
  9. Fire extinguisher sold. Thanks.
  10. Willall Fire Extinguisher and Bracket for sale. This is a must for any track day enthusiast. This extinguisher and brace bolts easily under the passenger seat rails without the need for any drilling or modifications. $175 located in Brisbane. Thanks, Stuart
  11. Thanks for all of the advice! I have booked a RHD Megane R26R from RSR for half a day. I will be sure to report back on my experience.
  12. Thanks for the links and advice! I will report back on how it goes.
  13. Hi all, I be at the Nurburgring on the 11th and 12th of July (Monday and Tuesday). Originally I had planned to book a BMW Ring Taxi but it doesn't run on weekdays. Can anybody suggest another way to experience this legendary track? I would be open to hiring a car (I have some track experience) but understand that I would have to be very careful as I have never driven the track before (apart from on GT5). Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Stuart
  14. is he Japanese?
  15. Hi 7ORTY

The guys at Mercury said I should contact you directly.

Hoping to do my first Time Attack at QR on the 27th, but after my experience with my original road tyres, I now realise I need the rims and 2nd hand slicks package.

The problem is, I will not have them ready by the 27th and was wondering if you would be interested in hiring out your set to me, for use on a morning o...
