Picked my car up from ben at racepace yesterday after getting a tune done. Took it for a drive tonight and twice under load at mid-high rpm the car sounded like it was missing (didn't sound like detonation.) Had a look at my power fc and the first time the knock was at 34 and second time 46. Are they dangerously high levels?

Being new to this whole skyline thing, i am surprised to see coil packs failing. I have never heard many cases of these failing in a 300zx at all . Can anyone please enlighten me as to why? (thank god my gtr has splitfires) My mate has ordered a set of JJR's for his S1 r33 gts-t after one of his splitfires caught on fire. He currently has the stock ones in atm and it's missing like a mad flamin mongrel. Will let you know how he goes with these compared to the splitfires and if it fixes his missing etc

Got defected twice this weekend one for tyres being a bit too bald and the other for blue parkers. I copped a major for the tyres with RWC needed. Now my car will pass easily except for one thing... is it un-roadworthy to not have a fan shroud? Should i hide my boost controller somewhere? or is that only an EPA thing?

Ran my 32 gtr at heathcote today. 1st run i ran a 13.4 @ 113mph 2.38 60ft 2nd run was a 12.3 @ 109mph 1.86 60ft 3rd run i ran a 12.1 @ 108mph 1.74 60ft Was kind of dissapointed i didn't break 11's today but it's my 2nd week owning the car and my first launch of the day was my 3rd time ever launching this thing... was also my first time at a drag strip. On the first run i was shifting at 7k and the other 2 i was shifting at about 8, so obviously 7k is the sweet spot. How far into the 11's do you think i could go shifting at the right spot with a 1.7 60ft? Obviously i would be getting over 113mph. Car is making 330rwkw

What do you mean by ticking noise? Doesn't sound like marbles on a tin roof or anything? Might be detonating? Checked things like coolant temp sensor, cas, boost leaks etc?
