  1. yeah thats right , just trying to impress my mates, i dont know many chick my age {30s} or my wife being very impressed with my owning a skyline never mind bagging it up, she hates the thing!!! lol .was that 280rwkws with same set up as mine with cams and plenum or without?

  5. the dyno was dyno dynamics in shoot out mode at electronic automotive epping victoria. the .63 a/r exhaust to me is spot on , i get full boost by 3500rpm. this to me wouldnt want to be any laggier but i guess each to there own hey? it definately feels laggier than the gcg turbo and i would honestly say that for the street its about as laggy as youd want to go! the car easily spins 1st 2nd and 3rd gear now when accelerating through the gears , changing gears at 6000rpm plus its an absolute rocket!! i love it.

  7. engine is stock, drive around on 13psi during the day and 20psi on nights and cool days. before this turbo i was running 18 psi all the time, just used my right foot to determine boost ie: flat foot = full boost, half throttle half boost e.t.c.

  9. just received my splitfire coils and no longer need the stockers. these coils are in good condition and can handle up to 18psi boost before they break down. they are of an rb25 r33 series 1 skyline. all six for $100.00

  11. thanx for the advice guys, yeah running .70 comp cover and .63 ar exhaust, 3 inch split dump through to 3inch cat and 3inch exhaust. 500hp turbine not 600hp. does anyone know what 260rwkws equates to at the flywheel?
  12. ordered splitfire coil packs for my series 1 r33 skyline, they took 3 weeks.
  13. just had my gt30 500hp turbo with internal wastegate fitted, my rb25 pulled 260rwkws at 20psi and 229 rwkws at 13psi. just wanting any feed back from anyone else who maybe running similar combo. car goes really hard now, even though im very happy with the results would upgrading my cams make any difference tp peak power or would the results be miniscule compared to the outlay and cost???? would be interested in peoples thoughts and opinions?
  14. ive just upgraded my injectors and no longer need malpassi rising rate regulator. was pushing 225 plus rwkws with standard injectors . $125 . i can send photos if you send me your email address.
  15. these manifolds are really great quality , got one fitted on my rb25 it gave me an extra 13 rwkws at the same boost!!! and mine cost me $570.
  16. r33 rb25 losses through the drive train are about 60 to 65 kw, dont believe everything that you read in motor magazines. theres no way that a v8 losses only 20kws through their drive train! if anything they would loose more than a rb25. id say holden has paid of the magazine to talk it up!!

  18. thats what im trying to say, if my turbo is still making reasonable power gains as the boost is being screwed into it and my support systems are on par , air fuel ratio is spot on, inlet and exhaust temp not excessive ,how far can i go on stock internals if the tuning and support systems are spot on??? 18 psi? 20psi? 22psi? 25psi?
  19. its people that sell them for rediculous low prices that de value them, tell him to go buy a silvia or some other girls car for $14k and when he grows up to be a man and can find at least $16k then he can come run with the men.

  21. robos, i ran up to 20psi with my gcg 450hp turbo no probs, are you running an adjustable wastegate actuator?
