  1. Are You Running Lower Compression To Acheive The 20psi Boost ? Im Running St.1 Gcg 450hp Hi Flow Turbo , 600hp Bosche Motorsport Fuel Pump, Malpassi Rising Rate Reg, Ces Racing Split 3inch Dump Pipe, 3 Inch Cat, Exhaust, Link Ecu , Gtr Intercooler And At 17.5psi Boost My Car Could Only Manage 212rwkws On Shootout Mode , My Tuner Advised Me That I Needed An Aftermarket Manifold To Achieve More Boost And Therefore More Power , He Reckons This Will Give Me Another 15 To 20 Rwkws!!! So At 230rwkws Im Going To Be Still Along Way From 265rwkws Lepperfish What A Freak/ Animal Of A Car Youve Got Mate!!
  2. robo youd have to beat my car in arolling run because you have 3rwkws more and 600rpm less lag! ive just had my stainless manifold fitted and will be getting the car tuned shortley will post my results. i doubt ill get much ove 225rwkws??? if i had my $2000 to spend again id go a gt30 everytime . yes more stuffing around to fit but you stand to gain more power in the long run.

  5. hi drifta , will the hks actuator allow me to run more than the base 9 lb boost that my stock wastegate actuator runs, say 12lbs? because at the moment high boost is 17lbs but low boost is set at 9lbs on my highflowed rb25 turbo. this is very boring to drive on low and high is too much in the wet , so would the hks actuator allow me to run base of 12 or more lbs of boost? if so i would be interested.

  10. ive got alink ecu , my tuner says that my stock cast manifold is holding my output back 15rwkws or so, anyhow i was just flicking through an old zoom mag and found an ad for advan performance who sell aftermarket manifols for $1450. so with that i think this thread is well and truly over, thanx.
  11. cool next time i get my car tuned on shootout mode i will ask the dyno operator to do the run in 4th gear this time instead of 3rd so the reading will go from 211.7 to 220rwkws!!!

  13. ive just had my r33 gtst dynoed on shootout mode went from 204rwkws to 195rwkws???now running 211.7rwkws with split dump and 3inch cat on top of gcg hi flow turbo, gtr fmic, 3 inch exhaust , link ecu, malpassi rising rate reg and 17psi boost?

  21. thats correct ben m, the hi flo starts to build boost as low as 1800/2000rpm and peaks at 1.3bar at 3200rpm. i havent been down to the drag strip yet , im looking at buying some decent tyres first because im only running dunlop lemans 245/40s.

  23. thanx for the info sydneykid. as for spool up time before and after hiflow, with the stock turbo/dump but 3inch exhaust/stock cat, turbo began spooling from 1800rpm and reached fullboost by 2600rpm. with the hi flow, stock dump, 3inch exhaust, stock cat the turbo began spooling at the same rpm as the stock turbo but took until 3200rpm to build to peak boost.adding split dump and 3inch cat has increased rwkws from 204 to 227rwkws without cams or headwork. turbo seems to spool up by the same rpm but boost went from 17.5psi to almost 20psi with out upping boost control!!!
  24. question for sydneykid, what is involved for tuning on elf lms? timing and more fuel? also can you tune for elf lms and 98 ron with a way of retrieving mapping for both? are there any aftermarket ecus that can do this? so that you can run both fuels without having to re tune from one to the other? im looking at alternatives to cheap alternatives to getting more power with out upgrading to a larger turbo when the high flow does the job for 95% of my driving. looking at putting on a set of nittos and hitting the drag strip once in a blue moon in the hope of pulling a high twelve, dont care if i pull 12.99, just want to pull a twelve!!!
