  1. i think that you will find that holden stud pattern is different to nissan skyline stud pattern. ford au falcon is the same not holden. goodluck with the sale.
  2. ive got a g tech and cant say that ive used the rear wheel hp function yet but when i used the quarter mile function with my old turbo set up i got 111.5 mph on the gtech and 110.5 to 112 mph terminal speeds from the print outs at calder park race way. i used the 0 to 60mph on the street as a guage to how well my car was responding to modifications. so i think that it is an amazing piece of gear!!!!
  3. whats 346 rwkws at the fly would be my question if anyone knows. i wouldnt have a clue how many foot pounds of torque. trident ive heard the exact same thing from other sources too. i gave her a bit off a squirt last night and power is everywhere a bit hard to rev it right out on the street in all gears need a race track. the car is a bit comprimised now for the street i think. she just wants to keep going. bounces of the 7300 rpm limiter and even changing the gears lower than this she stays on power im very happy . i cant wait to get her on the race track!!!
  4. im not running adjustable cam wheels , cams are set to zero or standard position that the stock cams would have been set on. how would this affect my quartermile time? a few less mph up top perhaps?
  5. v power racing 100 ron from shell or its old name was optimax extreme. although my tuner thinks thats mobil synergy 8000 98 ron is just as good go figure. valve float wow i hope not! maybe 25 psi over 7000 rpm even with the tomei valve springs and extra lift of the tomei cams???? have to look into this, thanx for the info nismoid.
  6. thanks for all the positive replys guys, kaido my tuner thinks that the standard plenum isnt a bad thing in terms of flow but a larger throttle body and plenum he thinks would pull a bit more power. b h dave ; low mount stainless manifold 6 into 4 into 2 design , nothing flash. a/r .63 internal wastegated exhaust housing same as whats on standard rb25 turbo. yes 7 blade to4s compressor r31 nismoid; ive got tomei poncams step 1 , ported head and tomei valve springs. thats an interesting point, i wonder if my 3 inch exhaust is holding it back ! lol although im very happy with the power!!! im still trying to get used to it , the cars only got standard suspension and brakes! so thats definately where i will be spending the dollars next. roy, i think that the gt3037 500hp power would have definately made 300 rwkws plus with an a/r .83 exhaust housing. gcg told me that it would have increased the lag by 500 to 700 rpm and because it was knackered , i went the gt3040 600 hp compressor instead. even though iam very happy with the gt3040 turbo i still would advise anyone who wants a good street combination still with alot of grunt to go the gt3037 500hp turbo combination. my skyline is an absolute animal now! i can hardly wait to take her to calder park!

  8. my advice , after getting my engine rebuilt because i let an exhaust shop fabricate my intercooler pipes and had welding spag pass through number 6 piston and then stamped into my head, bending a rod. dont get an exhaust shop to do it! they are very messy and should stick to what they do best! saved $ a few hundred dollars that ended up costing me over $8k! my 2 cents

  10. stock bov was sold way before this thread. that hole that is blocked is for stock bov, the tube attached was to block it because i upgraded to a blitz non recirculating bov, because im running link ecu no need for afm or bov return. the other hole can be have some sort of tap knocked into to attach the blow by hose from rocker cover. as for special deals i think $100 for both sounds good.

  12. as the title suggests i have a few stock rb25det engines parts left over from my engine rebuild, prices are negotiable so if you are interested pm me or post me a reply. i have photos of everything so if you require photos please send me your email address and i will send you some pics . ive got two left over r32 rb26 gtr rods $100.00 ono for the pair or $50 ono for one . 4 rods not sure which engine they are from they have 24-4 05u41-2 stamped on them x4 $100 ono standard series 1 r33 rb25det valve springs done 120000klm $50 for the set standard seies 1 r33 rb25det hydraulic lifters done 120000klms $100 for the set 4 inch mild steel intake pipe for turbo $50.00 . stainless steel low mount turbo manifold perfect for stock turbo or low mounting gt30 turbo with internal wastegate in stock turbo position so everything bolts back in place. it has some cracks that need tig welding $50.00. any queries dont hesitate to ask, just want to clear some space in my garage. cheers carl.
  13. got my 94 series 1 r33 gts-t back today after 9 months in the shop getting engine rebuilt e.t.c. gt3040r 600hp turbo with a/r.82 exhaust housing. results : 274 rwkws at 17psi on shell v power racing 100 ron fuel. 346 rwkws at 25psi on shell v power racing 100 ron at 7000rpm @ link to dyno sheet: http://i52.photobucket.com.au

  16. im pretty sure xr6 turbo is rated at 700hp and is running a 1.06 a/r exhaust housing , correct me if im wrong. yes my gt30 was the " butchered one " as you put it lol !
  17. you have to order a 1 bar canister for the gcg gt30 for the internal wastegate actuater or a hks one , otherwise she will struggle to hold much over 17psi of boost. that is why external wastegated gt30 are better than internal wastegates. i should know ive run both on my rb25.
  18. i ran a gt30 internally wastegated turbo with a/r .63 exhaust housing. same as whats on stock rb25 . 20psi by 3500rpm and 281 rwkws. very responsive turbo. dial up 3500rpm on take off and wheel spin city.

  23. i recently had a gt3040 600hp garrett high mount set up put together onto my rb25 running tomei poncams but stock plenum and pulled 305rwkws first run running rich afrs at 21 psi!! stock plenum is good . the only thing i modified was 3inch pipe into plenum. only thing stopping me producing more was a got severe valve float with stock springs over 7000rpm with higher lift cams. this will be rectified shortly.
