  6. ive got over 400rwhp, im driving a 1998 suzuki swift gti as a daily driver. $20 a week in fuel verses $60.

  9. i had one on my rb25 it pulled 277 rwkws on 98 ron fuel at 21psi. 283rwkws on 100 ron. great turbo! starts to spool at 2500rpm on a stock rb25 and full boost by 3500rpm. comes on really hard !!! if you guys want to see dyno sheet pm with your email address and i will send you one. cheers carl.
  10. got mine hi flowed by avo here in melbourne , it cost $370 for all six. had them in for 2 years now and ive got over 300rwkws. car idles fine and hasnt missed a beat since.theyve got a website.

  12. muaythailuke, would the queensland performance spring be better in my application where im only using 8.5mm lift? what seat pressure would stock valve springs use? what were you reving your motor too with those springs? did they cause the valves to float? at what psi ? rpm?
  13. im looking at upgrading my stock rb25 valve springs for new and heavier items fron allen at performace springs in queensland. my question is has anyone on these forums bought and used these springs on there rb25?? im running hydraulic lifters and step 1 tomei poncams 252degrees inlet 8.5mm lift inlet and exhaust. i recently bolted on a gt3040 600hp turbo , had the car pull 305rwkws on the dyno without a full remap. the cars power kept going until at 7000rpm with 21psi the valves began to float or something and one of my lifters at the rear stuck. im either going to go with these for $300 or tomei springs for $450 delivered from nengun. but ive ordered stuff from nengun before and it usually takes about 3 weeks. cars already been of the road for 2 to 3 weeks. your feed back would be much appreciated, thanxz carl.
  14. wow ! i knew it was 240 degree duration but only 7.8mm lift? then how have i been getting away with 8.5mm with my tomei poncams and stock valve springs???
  15. dumb question but will the tomei 8.8mm valve springs be ok with 8.5mm stock lift with my tomei step 1 cams??

  17. i had a gt3037 500hp turbo utilising the rb25 stock turbo a/r .63 internally wastegated exhaust housing, the combination pulled 281 rwkws at 22psi. i bought mine from gcg turbos in sydney. started making boost at 2500rpm , with full boost by 3500rpm.

  20. im running tomei poncams step 1 252 degrees duration at stock 8.5mm lift. now wouldnt running these cams with stock lift enable me to run similar rev limit to if i had the stock cams still installed??? if im going to run 22psi on hi boost do i need to restrict revs to 7000rpm or can i go to 7300rpm ? without valve float any ideas people???

  23. hi every body just need some advice from people that know. iam running gt3040 powered rebuilt rb25 with gtr rods , wiseco forged pistons , tomei step 1 poncams and ported head. im running stock hydraulic lifters and valve springs. im wanting to rev the motor past 7000rpm to take advantage of the extra top end this gt3040 turbo gives me. whats a safe red line to have? thanks carl.
