For sure, those wraparound indicators and the small window in the rear pillar remind me of the Lincoln Continental (US car, big enough to have a tennis court in the boot). Still see a few 2 door Lincolns around in Melbourne. In regards to the 280C, I thought the low-mileage engine might be of interest. I assume it's an L28. JH

Hi, Looks in good condition. Most R30's I've seen are either 3sp auto or 5sp manual. Are the grill and tail lights the same as other ('series 1') R30's? How many kms has it done? What's the condition of the interior and seats? JH

And cheaper depot to depot. You could tray-truck to Melbourne then use one of the major companies to transport from Melbourne to Sydney. JH

Just a comment on the pic (a few posts above). I think the red over black colour scheme works well because it makes the body shape look less bulky. (There are some nice examples of white, silver or blue over black in the old R30 Pic Thread). A good colour scheme could reduce the 'ugliness' factor. JH

Hi, Has anyone upgraded their old garage tilt door? I'm looking for a pair of tilt-door hinges and springs like those pictured below. I'm in the SE suburbs. It was a Skyline (R30 hatch to be precise) that rolled down the sloping driveway, crashed through the front garage door, pushed through boxes and a fridge, then came to rest halfway out the back door. Naturally the car was scratched but still driveable.

Hi, Can you go back to the place that re-gassed the aircon and ask them? They need to run the compressor when regassing and testing. How did they get it running? JH
