  1. Are the seat rails the same as MR30? JH
  2. Did you manage to fit the R30 5-speed box? How did you resolve the problem with the cross member? cheers, JohnH
  3. Not sure if you're still looking but there's one advertised here for $20: http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=22737 JH
  4. Thanks for the info. Don't have a donor car unfortunately so... I'm looking for a flex-plate, tailshaft, shifter plate and console surround for series 2 R30 4 speed auto. Does anyone know if any R31 items will fit? (So far have located 4N71b auto trans, cross-member and VL driveshaft). JH
  5. Looks good! Does the iron mask bonnet effect cooling since it covers the upper half of the radiator? Are you keeping the old bonnet? JH
  6. ... I've been outbid by $30! JH
  7. Hi Dennis, You'll have to guide us on its approximate value. JH
  8. Recently DR30 parts have been listed on eBay. Seller was in SA. Marc or Dennis may have his contact details, I think they've bought parts from him. Looked like he was parting out a car. JH
  9. Hi MAGS, You've replaced the radiator with one from a manual so you're fitting a transmission cooler. The intercooler isn't small. I presume you've also got aircon so there's a condensor and receiver/dryer on one side and the electric fan on the other. Then there's the grille. Where will it all fit? Or will you mount something outside? (Shakotan style). JH
  10. Thanks for the reply. More changes required than I first thought. Looks like all the way down the driveline (and maybe the diff too?). It's probably more sensible for me to fit a 'younger' or reco 3sp auto trans. JH
  11. Hotplate auction ended with no bids. I sent the seller two questions (1. asking for better pics via email and 2. asking if the wiring looms were included) and got no replies. JH
  12. 2cm sounds like a fair-sized chip. That's big enough to be called a chunk. Right-hand tail light looks a bit odd in the eBay pic, centre line doesn't seem straight. JH
  13. There is a member with the name 'kgc10'. JH
  14. I realise this has already gone but have a general question... Does anyone know if these 4 speed autos will bolt straight into an earlier series MR30 (to replace the 3 speed auto)? JH
  15. Hi Marc, Looks very nice as is. Is it registered and on the road yet? You're not putting the usual DR30 decals on the side, are you? JH
  16. Just to add to this... check the owners manual before having an automatic car towed. There could be speed, distance or other restrictions so the transmission doesn't get damaged. So... how did you get the car home? JH
  17. Hi, FYI. The other PNV is in Adelaide, owner is HR30 on this forum. JH
  18. Hi, The other possibility is to get someone to tow you home (using a tow rope). See http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...eredVehicle.htm You're allowed to tow behind a registered vehicle. There are other conditions listed on the web page: Run the engine on the towed car so the steering and brakes work effectively. Not sure if you're allowed to use a strap for towing, it would be much easier than rope or chain though. JH
  19. Hi, Noticed this parts car on EBay. Has rear louvres. In NSW. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=270597514379 JH
  20. Hi, There's an MSCA sprint at Sandown next Sunday 4 July. http://www.msca.net.au/calendar.htm. Also info on http://www.ndsoc.com.au/. JH

  23. What's stone guard? Is it a paint or some kind of stick on? I can see fender mirrors and a spoiler in your sig picture. Have you got them yet? And from where? Saw a mint green C210 sedan in Melb today. Colour looks great. JH
