That is a very tidy looking install and something i may have to consider as the way i have done mine means that rear passangers cant use the rear seat tilt feature and that long loads dont fit now

Brisbane Blessed With New White Series 2 Rs Four S
Califunky replied to mattye's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
looks nice and tidy. I really like them in white. Is the chrome on the rear lights standard? Always thought the s2 lights looked better than the s1 lights but dont particularly want chrome on mine -
Thanks for the welcome - got a project thread here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...er-t265981.html Very happy so far, its quick, discreet, i can chuck 2 bikes and the dog in the back or 4 people and enough gear for a weeks camping

lol, the hill climb should be fun last year there was a 4.4l v8 Jeep Cherokee than went up and set quite a good time, gotta see if i can beat it
-
On the hunt for a gtr fuel pump at the moment - nice cheap upgrade Unfortunately i cant go manual due to an accident i had years ago so upgrading the standard box and a beefier torque convertor are on the list for some point in the future. Arb's will be purchased at the end of the month (roll on payday). Need to get some new pads fairly soon aswell. WHen i got the gtr setup it had standard pads which are ok but i am doing a hill climb at the start of july here - http://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/ as part of the sxoc weekender so am going to need suitable stopping power.

Theres a lad just down the road from me who has just got a nismo copy kit, i am going to be getting his old skirts and rear lip to finish mine, silver to so no painting required Cheers for the comments guys

C West is good Aluminium GTR front end with JDL GTR kit, Fibreglass GTR rear arches A full JDL kit looks hard as nails -
Mansell rules and BTCC is awesome. First round of the season was the other weekend at Brands and they are still bumper bashing Its just plato, geo and matt neal now and not mansell, hoy, cleland etc A few of my mates went down http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=403894 http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=4...;highlight=btcc

After all of that i had a brake line wear through and pop on me - luckily i was just parking up The old & new (just used the bottom line in this pic) Do-luck goodness The reason why i needed new lines New lines fitted - Thats it to date, bit long winded but i had some catching up to do. Next on the list ecu (upgrade or standalone - not sure yet), arb's (probably the whiteline stuff), ebc, fmic and a gtr/greddy style intake plenum with front facing throttle body
-
Due to the standard stereo being knackered when i got it i was left without tuneage for a few weeks 2 sets of these in the doors but without the grills and a pair of these In this Going to paint the woodwork a dark grey and cover the top in a dark grey acoustic carpet - stealth shelf style to hide the 6x9's

I need to check local speedbump clearance but there is plent of scope for more lowering, bigger/wider wheels and arch rolling Definately sitting better now
-
And fitted S.P.A frontpipe S.P.A frontpipe & Rising Sun Performance decat pipe The finished article Much betterer now its been lowered (about 2" rear, 1.5" front) and noisy'd up a bit. What do you think?

On the ramps - as you can see the rear wheels are finally off New studs required at the back, New coilies Quick comparison While we were working on it i noticed the front pads were wearing very thin so i decided to upgrade seeing as there was a spare set lying around. New R33 GTR stoppers compared to the standard stuff And fitted - got some braided lines on too and filled with a good 5.1 fluid New NIsmo exhaust compared to the standard item
-
Soon discovered Serious Performance Autos http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/...ance-autos.html through the SOC My new coilies. Seems the shocks are made by KYB so the quality should be top notch My next mod (not!) This is going on a stagea Some monkey with a torque wrench had been let loose on my locking wheel nuts and over torqued them so much they actually bit into the wheels Andy at work trying to get it off My mates are weird Del Daz
-
Start of March - start of the proper mods, the manky old filter New shiny goodness - limited edition Apexi kit I am guessing that due to the skankyness of the old filter i was down on performance a little. The new intake kit has perked things up a treat. Feels more responsive on the throttle, eager to pull a little quicker and it makes a lovely noise too

The start of February brought snow and most of the UK to a complete standstill - not me Took the mrs to work and had some fun in the carpark
-
Someone from sxoc did this for me Much better
-
The first mods I ordered these before i had even picked the car up - load cover and dog/safety net Next i brought myself a decent set of R33 GTR rims,
-
This thing is as clean as any used car i have ever seen, the sills are spotless as is the rest of the underside of the car. These are a few pics of the worst points The rust The scuffs Weird bobble in the inner arch area Paint flake on the fromt bumper Interior - so clean for a 12yr old car, amazing condition.
-
Had a search for a projects section but couldnt find one, also had a search for rules for posting pics up and couldnt find that either. If this is the wrong way to do it let me know and i will sort it I brought this back in January as i was leaving my old job and rather crap 2007 civic ima hybrid company car and heading for a nicer job and my own car. These are a few pics from the original for sale thread Tints... Or something...gotta love the Japanese descriptions Clean underneath... Masses of room to sleep in...

thanks for the welcome Tbh i dont really dip into the bmw forums that often because this side of the water they all seem to be chequebook tuners and i hate that - much prefer getting stuck in myself

standard exhausts are generally very restrictive and take a convoluted route under the car, a well designed aftermarket exhaust with a larger bore will have a more direct route under the car getting rid of waste gases more effectively reducing heat build up and helping release a few extra ponies - obviously getting rid of the cat is going to benefit massively They sound good too
