  1. Will R32 GTR brakes work on an M35? I know I can pretty much use R34 brakes but unsure about 32's.
  2. Ahhhh, there it is This does ring a bell with me. Can't be done because it was available here. So it's buckle up and wait until one of the 19 choose to sell. Dammit.
  3. I've searched the forum and found some older posts but they're somewhat contradictory. I'm looking for a certain car and they're rare as hens teeth in Oz. I think they might also be rare in Japan but there's definately a few getting around in the UK. I'm getting confused reading the govie site and at the moment it looks as though it may be easier to bring one in from England than Japan as the compliancing may be easier (the same type of car sold here). I heard about a mini recently brought in that just had to have window glass changed because of the lack of aussie standards stickers. Can any of the compliance garages do a one off import? Any thoughts, ideas?
  4. can i ask where you got them? was it a fleabay jobbie or import? or other?
  5. I'm thinking of going the whole 9 yards and fitting a carputer. I'd love it to be able to display this kind of stuff on an info screen. Wonder if there's a way to hack these so they'll send an output to another device..
  6. Found these 350Z Brembos second hand: Big question is: is it worth the effort it will take to do the mods to fit these to the M35 Stag? Or is it better to try something else? I'm about to spend a little and brakes are one of the first things I want to attend to.
  7. The car is very under-braked. I read that befor eI bought and it was spot on. It's a heavy, powerful vehicle with standard brakes that just meet requirements. It's one of the things I'm going to change sooner rather than later. Otherwise I have a biger exhaust, Blitz intake and a BOV and that's it externally. No probs other than the brake shudder but I find it comes about after some heavy ish braking and comes and goes. Mechanically it's never missed a beat.
  8. enough time has passed so I might try again. I'll happily take a hacksaw to the b%$*dard.
  9. Anyone have a strut brace on their M35? I'm figuring you need good suspension, sway bars etc and then you can benefit from a strut brace right?
  10. Exciting news (well for me) I've worked a lease deal and I'm keeping the Stag! Now, where's that ad for the wheels and grill?!
  11. Yippee, withdrawn from sale. Mods please delete thread.
  12. Will be listingon carsales this weekend.
  13. Forgot it also comes with a set of Stagea floor mats. Bit worn but useable and stagea branded Bump too.
  14. I'm conisdering buying a car in Queensland (live in Canberra) and went to the Queensland transport website expecting to be able to buy a Vehicle identity check like I can get from REVS in NSW. I have all the details required, VIN number etc but then the site wants a QLD drivers license number!? WTF? Why can't I buy a report? Doesn't any interstate people buy cars in QLD? Any awesome soul out there up North want to buy a check for me? Car seems $2000 cheaper than it should be and I'm worried it's a repairable writeoff or something.
  15. Some new pics including the Aero bar:
  16. Just about to sell the stagea and I see this! Bugger, now you've got me thinking twice. Very nice car.
  17. \I saw these things all over Japan on so many cars, never knew what they were for.
  18. Dammit! You show me stuff like that and I want to keep it. That car rocks for standard factory aero.
  19. Ouch why don't you just kick me in the nuts! While I appreciate the super reliability of Toyotas offerings and like some of their cars a lot; Corollas and Camrys in stock form are for people who don't like cars. Boring, boring, super boring, A to B transport. If a cardboard box was safe enough, had wheels and was light on the juice there'd be a Camry driver in it.
  20. Not wedded to it going with the car, so can entertain offers. Will just knock a bit off the car price. PM with an offer if you like. Happy to start the discussion and I'll tell you I would just cost recover on it as I don't care about making a profit. Shoot me a PM if you like.
