  1. we run 2 baby seats in either the 4WD or the Stagea (M35). Didn't need an extension strap as the standard one reached the roof mounting points easily. There's mountains of room in the back for 2 kids and an adult between them. It's actually much easier for the toodler than the 4WD as he can easily get in and out himself, the 4WD is easier for the baby as you don't have to bend as much to put the Bub in.
  2. The car display says: The best the display 7km's/litre and 450 km range.
  3. 21.2 litres per hundred is the correct figure. NOw I've only done around town driving and no highway and I reckon maybe 15% of the time I have given it a squirt, but still! I would have expected about 16 litres per hundred. I think something must be wrong, either O2 sensor or bad tune (too rich?) anyway to roughly tell or should I just book it in? 77,000 km's on the clock BTW so perhaps an O2?
  4. OK, I'vefound these Brembo brakes and am fairly sure I've worked it out right and they will go on my M35 but any help appreciated. Details: bremboF50 & Lotus caliper? 370×30mm&340×27mm (F12mmR10mm残) × 1 cars caliper Stagea M35 KIT (Status mount) × 1 370 × 30mm & 340 × 27mm 2 piece rotors cheers
  5. yeah, I just like to muck around with my iPhone
  6. This just in: I am using an app to work out fuel consumption in terms I can understand and it shows me 21.2 litres per 100! S*$t. I was getting between 14-16 in my kluger and i expected similar in the Stag!
  7. gotta be a mix of dealer fitted or otherwise aftermarket accessories. These were not options on the M35 as far as I know. That R looks familiar, it's abadge off something else that has been added. Love the LED's
  8. that's what I've been thinking. I'm looking at a couple on IM now........
  9. left it too late and couldn't edit. I'm keen to get one of these airbag Momo wheels that I saw in a V35 and from my web searching I think it'll fit my M35, anyone have any idea? This is the wheel I like:
  10. as Andy said it's NTSC as per Japan TV. You can buy the screens off importMstr as they come up all the time but I don't know whether it'd be cost effective. I think you'dprob have to get a fair bit of work done to fit the OEM screen to a car that didn't have it. You'd certainly be able to buy a cable to get a aftermarket deck to send vid to the screen but the deck would have to output ntsc. Maybe consider buying a local DVD unit and adding a screen. There's plenty of places around who can do nice custom work to make up a screen and you could get it to deploy from the dash, or even more . this is my localguy and there's examples in his gallery of pop up screens: www.superaudio.com.au this is in an RX8

  12. since the TV unit needs a $400 aftermarket tuner and the Nav doesn't work at all and probably never will (no aussie maps), all you are getting is the fuel consumption stuff basically. I'd say go for an aftermarket double DIN GPS TV DVD unit to repace the stereo and seriously just buy one with sunroofs and aero. Mine has the TV etc but in hindsight I would have preferred the aero and I do miss sunroofs. I have had an in dash double din touchscreen allin one nit before and it rocked. The pop screen is cool factor only really, and by the time i've putmy aero kit on and got it painted I would have paid enough for a cusotm pop up screen install i reckon.
  13. Oh thought for asecond it was biseebee's car. *kidding* has the joke gone too far?
  14. I've officially exhausted all my Nissan options in Canberra with no luck in obtaining what appears to be simple for the rest of Australia (including Tassie - no offence). I might as well drive to freakin Crookwell* for them! *small Country town reference showing not that Crookwell is bad but that Canberra sucks ass for getting anything: Concerts, Movies and Car parts.
  15. any chance you could tell me the offset? confirm size would be great too. Thanks
  16. since when did Nissan become the volvo/bmw of the car parts world?!
  17. cheers thanks I'll let you know after I go to the dealer tomorrow.
  18. you know i actually did think of that since they're quite well priced. We're on the same wave length.
  19. saw it too. It was on the main drag with nothing across the road, thought it was a bit strange. Had plates on it on Monday morning i think.
  20. This isn't a bad idea. Group buy - but for 1! Andy tell him I'll order 50-100 disks and then I can re-sell them here on the forum
  21. Don't know which way I fall on this one, does the car look better with or without the weather shields:
  22. is this grill a direct swap with standard: it says it's this: NM35 plated grille sale drill
  23. I found a couple of half good one's floating around in the boot storage and used those so I guess I need three (one's gone and two are loose) for the moment. It's holding together OK now with the found one's but I don't want to leave it like that for too long.
