  1. I think we should just refer to it as "the " incident and speak of it no more . I'm crediting some of the blame on lack of sleep (new Baby arrived day after Stagea). Now I'm so pissed at myself I can't even walk up to the car without becoming pissed (at myself). Hence the almost desparate desire to replace the front bumper with an aero kit! Oh and the stupid air vent thing which is half with me and half on a friggin road somewhere.
  2. i bought some glue today and went to attach it and found out that some of it must have falen off on the road where the "ahem" incident happened . So there wasnt enough left to attach it.
  3. 2. Will try number 2 tomorrow.
  4. You'd think huh. I live in the Nations Capital though and it's like living in the back of f$&*ng nowhere. I took one in and he brough out one that looked similar but not the same. Then wanted vin and chassi number and moaned about these imports being very tricky even though I told him the clips are probably on every new car on the lot!
  5. Bugger hadn't thought about that. Maybe it's factory aeor for me. Now if bissebee can just buy himslef a nismo kit or something I can have his .
  6. I definately like the Nismo kit. The grill I've seen before and I think it's dolphin. THe Balsarinari or as I like to call it the park bench doesn't do it for me.
  7. The local NIssan guys couldn't find this part (these are the black plastic attacher things that seem to hold most of the car together , specifically I need them for the front grill and bumper but they all look the same): They wanted to start down the VIN number drama process but I thought it'd be way easier if I could find apart number.
  8. nope it's asmaller one. Sits down below the grill on the left and is about 20 cm's long and scoops air into the intercooler.
  9. Thanks, works Will this fit our M35s?
  10. Can anyone let me know which wreckers have the front cut (or whole M35) as I need a small plastic scoop vent sort of bit. Thanks
  11. is there a simple way to get it into import monster once I've found it through normal yahoo?
  12. Where? I regard myself as an advanced web user and have been buying tech on yahoo (real site) for years but i can never find s#*t on IM! I like factory aero. do you browse and go through the whole 80 pages or what?!
  13. I did see those but I can't really get with the whole step looking ledge on the front.
  14. #3 pro: dolphin, hot con:no idea whether auction is for the front grill only or the spoiler as well (think grill therefore...expensive #4 Go with an axis style thing
  15. My priorities for ading to the car have now changed a bit (no more personalised plates for me), and it looks like next cab off the rank is the front bumper/spoiler whatever you want to call it. Since it looks kinda Naff to just do the front spoiler without side and rear bits I'm thinking import monster might now get my cash for the whole kit. These are my first options: #1: Pro: cheap, looks pretty good. Con: needs painting, is it a straight DIY fit? It says it only goes on 2004+ and mines a 2002?? #2 Pro: looks great Con: only the front part
  16. Can't make this meetup (hope to make one soon:)), PM your bestest offer for loverly, giant exhaust to make your car sing!
  17. wish i had seen this post earlier today! I f@*#ed around for 1/2 hour this arvo, pulled the plastic fastener out, spent fruitless minutes trying to feel/get to the parker, failed. pulled the bolt off the headlight assembly, couldn't remove it, tried to get my hand in, failed. went back to liner, turned wheel full lock to get it out of the way, thought I could feel the light (hadn't removed said screw cause didn't know it F@*$ing existed), turned, failed. Gave up, went inside to have a drink!
  18. LOL! The dealer had the pink one for sale for months until he changed the sign to read "Red". *jokes* Pass on the covers, I want the real deal. Front cut?? anyone.
  19. Did it, it works: Japanese Lady says something in bad tinny audio. Funny.
  20. got it, just haven't got around to contacting the "new owner to be yet"
  21. this is pretty much what I got and about what I paid: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/7-IN-DASH-Bluetooth...93%3A1|294%3A50 I had it for a little over 12 months in the car and it worked flawlessly.
  22. if it's got GPS then fine but units with no gps need to be blacked out if visible to the driver. If it's a touchscreen to control the radio etc then it'sok but video etc can't work while driving. The newer GPS units need to have a DVD of the maps in to work so you can't play a DVD while driving as the gps disk is in. The law references the ADR's and states: the VDU (visual display unit) cannot be visible to the driver unless it is, or is part of, a GPS system.
  23. Bought one similar off ebay for my last car and it came from hong kong (touchscreen, GPS, TV, DVD) and it was great. played everything: divX, mp3s, WMA quicktime, played from dvd's, SD cards, USB thumbdrive. GPS worked fine, bluetooth for the phone was fine also. In a nutshell it was a great buy compared to $1000+ for a name brand unit. I could burn dozens of DivX movies onto a DVD and had hours of entertainment. The instructions were a bit engrish and took a bit of work to figure out some of the bluetooth stuff but everything else was simple. IMHO.
  24. Crap that sux! I was just commenting on the post a pic thread how cool your all black ride looked too. Glad you gotout OK and good luck with getting it bak running
