Actually I probably won't use the TV a lot so I don't mind it being hidden away. I prefer to listen to music or if needed watch all the stuff I've got for the iphone (even when I watch TV shows they're generally not live and don't have ad's). I use handbrake, absolutely rules for creating ipod/iphone content DivX and whatever else you need.

Make sure you inspect it well. I've bought a few theft recovered vehicles and there could be significant stuff that you can't see. The crim could have driven it over kerbs, trashed the hell out of the motor or gearbox (they do that sort of s*#t to them). I'd be checking the underside and suspension. If you can start it that'd be good too (they will let you and sometimes help with a jump). Find the compliance plate too as you may have rego issues if it's gone. From the looks of it it had an aftermarket stereo (face plate is not on), OEM didn't have removeable faceplate. It's got the screen but that doesn't neccesarily mean it'll work, if the DVD Rom was removed when they fitted the stereo it won't work at all.

Looking good. How have you found the Code Alarm system? I'm erring towards a Viper. Is Code alarm < viper for cost?

Ok let me ask a stupid question: if I pulled the leather heated seats out of a wreck could I fit them reasonably easily to my cloth int one? I'm assuming (maybe wrongly) that there's not a heap of wiring required for the power and heaters? Mind you this one at Pickles will probably go for $7000+ if that's what the other one got. Although why do they say it's got no Comp plate?

You were lucky. It seems most S1 and S2 came with both (and there's even a S2 one for sale on this forum), but not many M35's got the net. Mine has the blind but no net. Net must have been an option.

No pic on the wheels site of them on a car so I found this one. Hey on that, would a set off this dunnydoor fit our Stageas? What I mean is if we found some 2nd hand (this set was for sale but sold already) could we get them for our cars? Bis pm me with price on these (i know what the 2nd hand one's went for)

I agree the second one's look like they belong on a hummer, not that there's anything wrong with that I like both of them and in fact the first one is something that caught my eye. I started the thread because I found some second hand one's for cheap-ish. I'm keen to get a set of mags and drop the car down a bit and I'll be happy for a while as I think that sort of look is nice and tough and sporty and matches the performance of the car a bit. I too want the brembo's. Hey ask 'em how much for two sets of the first wheels and see if we can get a discount! I'll come up for lunch, we get our wheels fitted and bob's your uncle. I'm looking at a set of wheels on here too but no tyres and I'm unsure how much it'll set me back once I've got rubber on them. It'll be a temp set on the ways to the ultimate wheels. Hmmmm. Absolutely, great guy. Worked out he installed my Viper alarm a 15 years ago! I'm going to shoot a little video of the setup as the pics don't really do it justice.

Steering wheel controls are a plug and play affair. You need to take apart the steering wheel but the wiring is already there. This includes single DIN units - BUT!! the controls only work with Double DIN stereos like in the ARX. They will not work with single DIN stereos which have a compartment or guages next to the stereo.

Aw crap. I don't know how you find these things! I played it tight on the grill and bid 4000, then got sick with wisdom teeth trouble and missed the close and it went for 4100 yen - Damn! Should have just paid the 5K as it was a bargain. If you ever stumble across another one (or the net) please let me know. Thanks
