  1. There are 2 plugs that go to the aircon unit that you need to disconnect when you remove the surrounds to install/ remove head unit so you can get at the screws for the brackets for the head unit. There is also 1 plug for the hazard lights if this is left unplugged no indicators will work. As for the mfd has it been removed at some point???? maybe the plugs are removed also. If you PM me i have all the wiring diagrams for mfd and test procedures for all the sensors etc to see if they are connected and aircon etc but not the sound system as these aren't included in the manauls. But they are easy to work out.
  2. Try Empire Aero find em on SAU, I brought a carbon one for my 34gtr fitted good and good price and looks trick better than the original that got smashed.
  3. Try Companies like Extraman, Skilled, Mondelphos, Barminco, Ausdrill. Best to have your HR licence and get a police clearance from the GSDU for work in gold mines, Just be persistent and it will happen. Try the oil rigs also plenty of work there companies like Offshore Marine Services (OMS), Total Marine Services (TMS), Global Resource (GRN). If you are not a tradesman you will need at least a dogging ticket preferably a riggers and a HUET (helicopter underwater escape) is a must. Having been in the mining and offshore game for many years the best advice is to be persistent and polite with the HR girls, they get hundreds of calls a day from job seekers. Send off your resume and call them within the next few days just to ask if they have received your Resume, Get there name and BE polite just so you have a contact for when you call back to touch base. Best of luck
  4. You can use a high quality water soluble oil in the cooling system, the type used for lathes and milling machines as coolant. But you must flush it very well when you put it back together. I have used it for years in salt water cooled ski boat engines stored over the winter with no problems. It ain't cheap but it works. But depends how long you want to store it.
  5. welcome and nice ride, i 'm in denmark and can't wait to get home to drive mine
  6. Check and clean all your earths. bad earths do weird stuff. check alt 13.7v with no load then turn all the light etc to load up the alt (check at 2000 rpm) to check regulator. get it all hot and check it all again if the alt is still putting out 13v at the term on the alt but the voltage is low at the bat( check at both spots) you have a bad connection or a bad earth due to high current draw and heat.(hotter stuff gets the more resistance stuff has).has the bat been relocated??? are the cables big enough If it is a long cable run???
  7. mmmm. maybe buy one two ( vcam that is) love the wheels welcome to the club

  11. got a 34 v spec2 with usual mods more than happy, you won't be disappointed if you like track days for the average joe it will lap all day no worries evo's are fast on the track but rb 26's have the sound
  12. The more tickets the better then contact places like extraman or skilled, ready work force etc and be persistent a lot of companies wont fly you from over east so be prepared to re locate or pay your own way home also look at oil and gas construction heaps of that stuff going on i used to work in the mines but now work on the rigs try rigzone website, offshore marine services, total marine services, GRN SWG there are heaps just net it up and be persistent. most labor hire places clean thier boout after 3 months so just keep hassling then and they will give u a job just so u will leave them alone good luck

  15. has anyone come across I dash stickers in their engine bay?? i have these on both afm's,intercooler and plenum on my 34 gtr just wondering if they are a tune shop or what? have been curious for ages i have a pic but not sure how to post it
  16. get a piece of cardboard and get creative then get one made it ain't that hard you know exactly what u want so make it
  17. thermo's are fine if set up correctly if you dont want to go back to the clutch fan on the engine. for controlling the fans use a SPAL fan-pwm fan controller to control the fans, great piece of kit costs between $250-275 depending on where you get it from, you can get them from air con wholesalers JAYAIR or any good radiator shops. Not to hard to fit good instructions. It uses pulse width modulation to control one of your fans which slowly increases fan speed from 50% to 100% from a predetermined set point that you program and if running 2 fans will start the 2nd when the high point is reached. If you have a big FMIC this can also affect the amount of airflow to the rad look at fitting a top panel where your bonnet catch is from the front bar to rad support and the same on the bottom to force air through rad air will take path of least resistance -this is a common mistake on gtr's where the front splitter is removed.
