with pi ggyback AFC NEO, pod, 3inch turboback, fmic, ebc @ 11psi (stock turbo), bosch fuel pump, hiflowed injectors my car made 197wkw. and 0-100 recorded @ greddy turbo timer was 4.6 secs with 18inch 265re001 at the rears (was told the time from turbo timer is just for reference its not that accurate but yeh) imo just dont f**k up the launch and youll do a good time

went to vicroads today the guy didnt even bother to look at my car. all he did was marking on the papers (defect notice and rwc) and then walk to my car and take the defective vehicle paper off. (less than 3 mins) ive been pulled over for more than 10 times now (i live in the city) and this is the first time i got defected. hope this record wont bring any extra troubles to me in the future cheers eskar

spoke to my mechanic and got my exhaust replaced to the standard one. borrowed a standard gear knob from a lancer as for the alignment i was told that vicroads wont even know whether you do it or not. ive got a RWC and going for inspection tomoz hope everythinig turns up just good. will see how it goes and will post up here. cheers eskar

thanks for the answer so how much is datalogit and cable are they more expensive than a handcontroller? do most tuners have the software to tune the powerfc? (which means I dont have to buy the kit to get it tuned)

Ive tried to search in the FAQs but no answer to this question. sorry if it was already asked is there any featuers/settings that cant be accessed without the hand controller? another word can we make 100% use of powerfc without the hand controller? am deciding to get a powerfc without the commander thanks

and so if im to get the list done and pass the inspection do i have to remove my boost controller, air filter/intercooler etc.. which are not on the list or I can just leave them so as vicroads only inspect according to the list??

thanks bros does RTA rule apply to vic ? i was defected in some drug/alcohol operation in the city well you know with the big buses. i was asked to park at the side after breathtest and they started to talk cock ive got a MAJOR and heres the list (as written on the notice) front end alignment (ive just done it no longer than 1 month when i replaced my tyres) induction system - to be connected ( i have a random pipe in my engine bay unconnected) gear stick - to comply with ADR's (i didnt know you get defected for gearknobs thats pretty stupid) exhaust pipe - to be protrude past rear of vehicle (understandable i was about to replace it) apexi unit to be removed (it is a afc neo) so now ive got a major defect what can i do now or do i simply get them done and go for inspection? i wasnt asked for RWC tho. thanks eskar

hey guys unfortunately i got defected by the coppers =( i have a question here does vicroads inspect everything during inspection or they just check the list that i was defected for? do I have to get everything back to stock or just get what was asked done? also does anyone know any shops around melbourne where i can get a muffler and put it on on the same day? thanks for help cheers eskar

me too have seen him 999 times for the past few months and we have cruised along the same road for quite a few times and he always park @ north melbourne (me too) but never had chance to say hi he should recognize my 33

thanks for help but even when the profec B is turned off it boosts only 5psi instead of 7psi (stock boost). any thoughts?

hi all i have recently got a profec b spec 2 ebc installed on my 33gtst and i was pushing 11psi with stock turbo it was very consistent and stable it stays @ 11psi since 2k + rpm and went on all the way to redline then the next day i realised the boost wont go over 9+ psi with the same settings (i didnt even touch the controller) and so i tried to turn the boost controller off and it was only boosting around 5psi instead of 7psi. i know the profec b increase boost by the % of stock boost so i reckon the problem lies to my stock boost and thats why its only boosting 9psi with the controller but anyone can help why issit only boosting 5psi on stock boost? i read someone bout modding the stock solenoid, the stock boost will stays @ 5psi if the solenoid is not grounded and 7psi if its always grounded. but it shouldnt affect me since i have an aftermarket bc already. i just thought it might somehow be related. it was boosting 11psi all the way on the day it was set and everything was good and stable i dunno what is causing the problem a little help will be very appreciated. thanks eskar
