B16a's arent a little 1.6 litre.
you are forgetting that the high VTEC cam is some 290 degrees in duration - and you need a decent trubo to match this. A workshop in sydney that did turbo B16's used HKS 2835 turbos on their low and turbo kits, no lag, msooth power and made 230kw at the tyres...
Just somehting to think about.
If you're aiming for 300rwkw with any sort of longevity, id go for a forged bottom end. This will also enable you to do build the engine to work with the turbo and be reliable at the same time.

Matt
Its unlikely for a new GT series turbo to seize up that badly. It sound more like a leaking inlet pipe has blown off...
the AFM is reading more airflow going into the enigne that what really is (cause of the leak) which is why its idling rough
OK guys, what models would people be interested in? Id prefer the 2A1 kit (I like doing stuff myself) but what would other people want?
Once we get a few people i'll fire off ane mail to see if TechEdge will come to the party.

Matt

Hi SK,
What (if anything) do you use to monitor knock whilst making adjustments on the road?
Just wondering if you have any tips that I could learn from
Cheers,
