I got a 1995 Series 1 R33 GTS-T which has some minor mods (its a mines car with stock turbo i think). I've had it for a few months and it has been driving fine, boost properly and pulling very hard. However, that all changed this morning. After driving down 20km of highway sedately, I slowed down to navigate a corner only to have the car make a loud 'fan' noise (no crazy or dramatic bang or anything). Ever since then, the car doesnt boost properly. It doesnt have any where near the power it used to have.
The car still sounds completely normal, except with the noticeable drop in induction noise...it almost feels like im driving a N/A skyline.
I've briefly checked all hoses, lines and connections and all appear fine and leak-free. the turbo isnt making any funny whirring noises and the intercooler looks okay.
Any ideas? Im starting to pull my hair out!
PS: the car has a 2 stage boost controller, 8 pound and 18 pound. never really use the 18 pound at all.
