  1. RB20 Stock Internals vg30 turbo z32 AFM gtr injectors powerFC walbro pump fmic 200rwkw 16psi (spikes to 18)
  2. Okay awesome. Thanks.
  3. G'day. I want to replace the downstream O2 sensor in my A31 Cefiro, factroy turbo. When fitting my cat converter, I noticed the 2nd O2 sensor is different to the dump pipe one. It also has 4 wires and a different connector. When lookin on the net I cant seem to find this downstream sensor for sale. Has anyone come accross this before? I would like a cheaper option as nissan want $220, and there is none in the country. Thanks, Matt
  4. When I got the car it had no power steering, the hose from the pump was missing. It doesnt have a hicas rear end and the resivoir has 2 returns and 1 feed to a single type pump. I have thrown the solenoid out, but found a pic on the net which is similar. The sol. in mine only had one side to it, with 3 hose fittings. I this pic there is actually 2 solenoids togeather, The blue square show what mine included. The other is my steering rack, the top right hose went to the solenoid. I removed this and plugged it, but still had no power assist. I want to remove any hicas/speed adjusted assist or whatever so was thinking of getting a new rack.
  5. I checked mine today and turns out I dont have a hicas rack, 3.4 turns... The solenoid that I removed must have been for speed sensitive steering ?
  6. Dan, Im trying to get less turns of the steering wheel to acheive full lock, not actually looking to improve the angle of wheel at full lock (at the moment). From what i can find on the net, S13 Stock rack 3.1 turns lock to lock S13 Hicas rack 2.6 turns lock to lock Therfore the Hicas rack will give a more responsive steering.
  7. You could try raising the vehicle, loosen all bolts for rubber bushes enough so they can twist, lower the vehicle completely (weight on all wheels), check ride height Left and Right. If all bolts/nuts for your suspension bushes are slightly loose and it still sits wrong, then atleast you have eliminated a possibility. Its not how tight you have done the bushes up, but the angle of the control arm when you tightened them up, compared to the angle of the control arm when the wheel is loaded with weight. One may twist more due to softer rubber, age, cracks etc...
  8. Are the suspension bushes binding up? If the bolts that pass through bushes were done up tight when the wheel was off the ground the bushes may not allow the control arms etc to swing upwards enough to allow the vehicle to sit right. You could try loosening and re-tightening all bolts that go through rubber bushes (while the vehicle is on the ground).
  9. I have a Cefiro with a steering rack that appears to be Hicas, (it has an extra fitting that went to a solenoid, which is now removed). I have read somwhere that hicas steering racks have less turns lock to lock? Is this correct? What I want to know is, Can I buy a S13 rack and swap the internal parts over to get a more responsive ratio? Thanks, Matt
  10. Any luck yet Mate? May need to check the fuel rail pressure? Try disconnection fuel pressure reg, blocking hose so there is no vac leak into manifold, and crank it. I think this will give you full fuel pressure... Or also try tuning the key on (wait 5sec) then off, then back on about 5-8times before you crank it (fuel pump might be getting lazy, but if its failed this wont help). You may need to check your plugs if your have been turning it over alot with out it firing. When you looked at the plug last did they look 'wet' from unburnt fuel? An Injector 'Noid light' will tell you if injectors are being fired.
  11. When you say your car wouldnt run well with the new HKS BOV first installed, Can you describe it? Would it rev free or struggle to build rpm? Did it feel like a missfire or engine cutting out completely, if so at wat rpm?
  12. Is the fuel pressure regulator plummed into the same vac source as the bov? Check all your vac hoses?
  13. Moodles the car is now back to 'as it was' with new plugs, what could the venting to atmo also buggered up?
  14. Perhaps check spark at all coils, maybe several have decided to die. You mentioned it "almost ran but soon gave up"...
  15. If you dont have any luck, maybe check the ecu for fault codes and post results. See > http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5082
