  1. I got so pissed off with my brakes squeeking exactly as you mentioned and in the end after changing pads, roughing up the disks etc and bought a can of "De-squeek" made by CBC or whatever as a last resort , cost me $20, didnt expect it to work, sprayed it on both sides of the disk, did a few brake runs (like you do to bed pads in) and it was silent for a while. Im not sure if it effects how good your brakes are but i know mine still work pretty well if i heat them up (ultimates). They will start to squeek again after a while but if you just apply a little whenever they start again (think i probably did it about 5 times and i half assed it with the wheels on) , i think it builds up a sort of light film and i havent applied any in ages. They still randomly squeek now and then but its waaaaaay better than they were. $20, give it a try
  2. Damn, i want the RS's if theyre a harder compound, im going to be running these on my daily driver lol Oh and thanks for the PM Fineline, ill give him a call later today
  3. Nah ive already been down that road, im not an NSW member so no can do lol. Just got a quote from neta at virginia, 235/40/17 are $195 for 595's and $225 for RSR's And 255/40/17 are $280 for 595's and $345 for RSR's Anyone know a cheaper place than that? oh and i thought the semi-slicks were called RS not RSR? HackerX could you PM me and let me know what tyrepower charge you for your SS's?

  9. Yea the mountain run was good once it dried up a bit and there was a half decent number of us which was good. Shame we got broken up a little after that, not sure if thats why but after the roundabout we just stopped in at KFC and then we all went seperate ways so nothing much was missed. Some nicer weather and a little more organisation next time maybe? lol
  10. Fair enuf, ill meet ya at th airort then ay hahaha

  12. In for a group buy Ive got full comp insurance but being the first year ive had the car and being 19 it means my excess is 3 grand Thinking now that ill get a decent alarm when i can.....wonder if i can get those riot mines with the rubber projectiles installed........
  13. Ive got a Vi-Pec, FMIC, K&N, fuel pump, fuel reg, full exhaust, stage 1 running 7psi, stage 2 running 14psi Dyno said 244rwhp when the ecu was first fitted but since ive had a timing belt and a re-tune recently it feels far better to me im not sure if that figure was before or after the front dump pipe was done either
  14. Thanks for that gary, but now im just plain CONFUSED haha. I just went out and measured from the centre of the wheel to the guard and got; Rear: 475mm and Front: 485 so your measurements suggest my car sits 105mm higher than standard but i have camber suggesting the opposite? (top of the wheel sits in, inner tyre wear) Oh and if you could post up or PM deails about a better option and or price id appreciate it
  15. Went to fulcrum earlier and they priced me about $200 for two bush kits and about $300 for fitting, wheel alignment ect so $500 all up, sound reasonable?
  16. Thanks, ill go down there and see what they come up with ay. Its got standard suspension with "low" king springs, think thats about a 50mm drop? not sure though
  17. Yea i heard the arms arent as good as bushes (need adjusting regularly and they crack and break), didnt know they had to be pressed, what do the bushes get pressed into? :s And does anyone know where i could take my car and just have it done my them? (brisbane area)
  18. Hey all, i want to correct the rear camber on my R33 and ive heard bushes are the way to go so ive found a whiteline kit on ebay. Its not a very good picture but theres just eight plastic bushes and 4 metal sleeves (Whiteline Part # KCA347) So, questions i have are; 1. It claims +/- 0.75 deg, that confuses me pretty good as it seems like nothing, how do i know if its enough? :s 2. Its up for $150 delivered, does that sound right? 3. Seeing as theres not many parts it seems pretty simple but how hard are they to fit and adjust? 4. Does anyone know a better option or where i can get a better price?
  19. Im guessing thats a home job? if its atleast semi professional then i might be interested. If so, let me know his contact details ay
  20. Ok just did a pretty extensive search on the subject and supposedly you cant clean the acctual cold start valve because its a bi-metal stip valve but the AAC valve can be cleaned and theres a DIY tutorial for that here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...mp;hl=aac+valve But im going with the idea that the cold start valve is faulty and not opening properly/atall and therefore causing a difficult start. Mine is only minor and is just an annoyance rather than a problem so im thinking there may be just a hesitation in the valve opening. Anyway, ill give it a look tomorrow and let you know how i get on
  21. Yea ive got that problem on my r33 too, only started recently. i wouldnt know where this cold start valve is either, id appreciate a diagram or some instruction of where it is and how to get it out ect
  22. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Looking good mate, wish i could do something like that looking forward to the next update
