I agree with terry, get a proper receipt and take the right paths of getting the refund that you are lawfully entitled to. I dont trust many places with my car, and if this had been me, i wouldnt have even left it with them a second time. What if he goes over the whole car with the buffer to try and make it all match, and he screws up the rest of the paint I dont mean to worry you by saying that, Id just be getting my car well away from this guy if it were me

Were the quotes you got all a similar price? Im still unclear about just how much you have had painted, but $600 seems very cheap to me

As all the above show, paint is a bit of an art and its easy to screw up. Not many people can do it and just because its their "profession" doesnt mean they are one of those few people. I think its just one of those things where you get what you pay for, and if you want it perfect then you have to pay top dollar at a reputable garage. What exhaust system do you have mate? If you cant see anything wrong with the turbines, id say that a resinator has collapsed and blocked the exhaust.........or somebody doesnt like you blocked it The symptoms you just gave sound exactly like mine when mine collapsed, apparently its common with kakimoto exhausts. Just drop the exhaust at the downpipe and drive it down the road, you will soon see if it has solved your problems

Well if you go down the road of a different ECU, go and see Mark about a Vipec, I have one and they are fantastic. He also uses one in his R32 drag car currently running 7 second passes

If you have been paying those prices, drive to brisbane and get a different tuner to take a look at it mate, its not far from toowoomba. Talk to Mark at Godzilla motorsport in Wakerly, or the guys at EFI performance in Yatala

Yep, and the only number they give, is for automated payment. So when you get a fine for an unpaid toll even though you have a tag, you have to basically walk into their office, or just pay it
