Hi all The other night a cooler pipe became disconnected whilst driving. I drove home about another 40kms. I obvioulsly had no boost. I changed the hose the next day to a silicon one. Ever since then once the engine reaches 4-5k rpm it kind of splutters whilst the revs increase. I'm just weandering if driving with a disconnected cooler hose has affected the AFR or could it be something else? Thanks in advance

Yeah thats exactly what im going to do. He said everything was fine, that there werent any issues and was actually quite happy. Its not that i want more power, cause its fine the way it is. Its just that i believe that with this set up (barring any issues such as the ones you mentioned) the car should have pulled more than it did. As i said i really got the impression it was done in rush to get the car out of there, and im sure it wasnt tuned by Mark himself.. I'll be booking it in this week sometime elsewhere..just for peace of mind!

Yeah, thanks for that. Doesnt matter what gear youre running , it all comes down to a proper tune doesn't it? Funny thing is this guy has one of the best reputations in Melbourne and the results to prove it, but i highly doubt that he tuned my car. Anyway i will post both dynos once i get it retuned elsewhere.

Thanks Adriano. Thats what i was expecting as well. I kinda got the impression that it was all done in a bit of a hurry..... guess I'll be booking it in with a decent tuner shortly.

if not what would be an expected figure and is 18pound to conservative?

i was expecting around 280 at the wheels.... is it cause of the small rear housing or no fuel reg??

Hi guys just had fitted the following: 3582r 63 rear (internal gate)tomei 740 inj, viper ecu, bosch 044... boost 18 pound. It pulled 250rwkw on the dyno. Does this sound about right or not? Regards

You're probably right. Well im picking it up either tomorrow or at the latest on Monday. I'll let you know and I'll try to post a copy of the dyno...

Hi all Hopefully picking up my s2 R33 GTS-T tomorrow.... getting upgraded with garrett 3540(.82 rear), vipec ecu, 044 pump and sard 800s. Already have 3inch turbo back, hks FMIC, pod and splitfires. Hoping to be to get around 260 rwkw safely. Does this sound realistic??
