Sorry to hear about the damage mate. i had a commodore transported from perth the brisbane 2 years ago by adalaide car carriers. car was immaculate prior to transport i had even taken photos at their depot in perth. pick the car up in brisbane and it had pannel damage the fuel tank was half hangin off and the whole exhaust incuding extractors was stuffed. they wouldnt take responsobility so i went to my insurane company n made a claim not even they could put the blame on them so i had to pay the excess $600 wich was better than the 6k in damage the car carrier done. i imagine that 99% of their customers would be totaly happy with their service other wise they wouldnt be in buisness but in my case and the amount of damage done to my car i cant recomend anything you love being transported by this mob. to happy to take my money but when it came time to explain why my car is f**ked and they wer responsible they didnt wana know me

  5. i got 120 115 130 110 115 110 on my rb25det, apparently it was rebuilt with forged pistons in it like 2000kms ago, should i be conserned?
  6. when i swap the plugs and coils about its still the 4th one in that wont work,.. i found out last nite that its not getting spark at all. the new coils i got are s1 unless just jap stuffed my order up but they do look identical as the ones that came out thanks cheez im sorta hoping it is the ecu to give me an excuse to go Apexi PFC, i went and seen cp auto electrial this arve cuz we got rained off work and old mate said he'll put a diagnosis tool on her monday and hopefully it will show whats goin on
  7. they are brand new coils. what could it be shorting on?? it runs but it wont rev and sounds like a lawnmower idling then when u unplug that 4th coilpack plug it runs fine (on 5cyl)
  8. thanks, i found it , i had the fuel lines mixed up..... bloody unreal. its still not running properly when the 4th coil is pluged in. dunno what to do now. it must be electrical
  9. hey as the topic says ive just relpaced my injectors as a last ditch effort to stop it farting and missing when running on all 6 cyl and then when i unpluged the 4th coil pack in it would run fine (on 5 cyl)... ive replaced the coil packs n swaped pugs around and they are all fine, got a working 2nd hand coil loom and the thing it plugs into and still no luck. so with some advice i got working 2nd hand injectors and swaped them over. Now i duno what ive done wrong but when i turn it over with the return line off to see if its got fuel running threw nothing comes out? any help

  14. if you do remove the squirters is that really bad? what else do you have to do when they are removed?
  15. the bloke that done the conversion on my rb25det gu patrol used the sump of the old 2.8td donk that came out of it. he said he put 7.5l of oil in it cuz thats what the 2.8td donk used to take to be full and he recons this should be fine, im not so sure cuz it does even regester on the rb25s dipstick. i dont want to over fill it and have the crank sitting in oil but i also dont want it to be that low. also the lifters are very noisy at start up and takes about 4-5min of idling for the lifters to stop making so much noise so my question is. Without worrying what sump is on it should i still fill it untill the full mark of the dipstick?

Hey Im chasing a s1 rb25det coilpack loom and ignitor (if thats what the coilpack loom plugs into??) must be in good conditon (working) and be able to post to me as im out near kalgoorlie. if anyone knows of a new coilpack loom please let me know with phone numbers or link to website. i know just jap do one for 300$ but as i dont know that this is the real problem i dont really wana spend that much just yet untill i know thats whats wrong! Hey, Ive got a gu patrol with a rb25det in it, after having a play in the mud the other week i was letting it idle down when it baddly started missing, i found by disconnecting the wiring on the 4th coil pack in it ran pritty much fine, but as soon as u connect it again it euns like a dog and wont rev... so i got a new set of coils and plugs thinking it was that coil was stuffed but still no luck, has anyone had this promblem before or any advice on how to diagnose n fix the problem.
  22. ive been living in kambalda for bit over a year now n ive seen quite a few r33's getting about. have seen ur r34 a couple of times charlie22, very nice. once my rig gets back on the road we should catch up for a cruise.
