  1. I don't think my stock bov piping has ever been tampered with though...
  2. That's a more suitable price, $400 is too much i think, can get a brand new wheel for that amount, or 2.
  3. Milan: I don't see why a 100k service would help much? The previous owner has had my timing belt changed with receipts, by UltraTune though, cost the owner $490 back in Oct 2010. The car has no leaks (rocker cover was leaking now great). I have noticed that after changing my coil packs and spark plugs the car runs a lot smoother e.g. 3rd gear doing 70km/h at 3000ish rpm, i thought i was in 5th because engine noise was so low and smooth, before it used to scream just a little louder. I got 450ks to the tank this week but i had an extra 8L added 2 days ago(helped for 80kms i think), when i filled up today i put in 58L! Gonna check how far this goes, will try to drive normally... . John: So i should get my stock bov piping checked?
  4. Got quoted $400 as an average quote for re-trimming a wheel... Is this normal?
  5. That's what i'm after! Even if i baby the car (which is hard) i'd get 420 maybe? I've had the 33 for 5ish months now, i have new genuine coil packs, new sparks and oil. Yet to do fuel filter, other oils, and o2 sensor. Hope it improves after that.
  6. 180km with your R34 GTR? I got 390km this week, i think that's still a bit low... car is stock apart from a catback too.
  7. Think a GTR style wing suit her? Sorry for the double post, just came to mind. I don't have a problem with this one, but i think it'd look meaner esp with black endcaps.
  8. My baby =] Couple of night shots. Shortly after this pic, Homebush security jeep informed me that i was not allowed to park here. I had already taken all the pics i wanted to =].
  9. I'm loving your steering wheel! I know your in SA but where could i get a job like that done? My wheel has seen a little too much sun and is a little worn on the top.
  10. The only option we really have other than our stock headlights are the $2-3k s3 Xenons, so even though some people might not like these halo ones, at least we know there's something else out there for us all, even though this probably isn't an easy modification . In saying that though, i don't mind the standard s1/s2 headlights, they look really nice after a thorough clean, getting rid of the yellowing. I think it's hard to get a headlight mod right on a R33, I've seen a few (3-4 maybe) and in my opinion, this one takes the cake.
  11. Was having a look through a thread on a bmw forum (http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=35358), if you scroll down 2/3 of the topic you will see some really cool bmw style headlights this guy installed onto his 33 GTR. I'll attach the pics here anyway; What do you guys think? He seemed to have alot of trouble wiring them up too, they're quad Bi-Xenons! Imagine that in your rear view mirror when it gets dark....
  12. Amazing machine, lots of hard work and passion, i love it! Red really suits R34 GTR's too :\.
  13. Hey Adam, I purchased a set of coilpacks for my S2 R33 on Ebay this Tuesday, just wondering if you have posted them as the little "posted" icon isn't showing yet. Cheers, Jack.
  14. Wow that was quick, thanks Simon
  15. Hey all, I purchased my 2nd R33 a few months ago, and i really can't identify these rims on it! I've had a good look around however i can't see anything that looks like them, nor can i see any writing on them regarding what brand they are. So i leave it to you =) . Hope this is in the right area of the forum to post this. Thanks.
  16. Are you willing to sell the wing without the bootlid? Thanks.
  17. Yeh at Richmond.
  18. Just confirming, i'll be there with 3 other cars, 2 celicas and a bmw.
  19. I'll most likely be there, can bring a mate or two along as well.
