  1. do you know the DBA Part number for those 5000 series rotors? might come in handy for me.. Are they 330x32mm ?
  2. Looks good. What size and brand are those rotors ?
  3. That would be good, The CP5200 is generally a better caliper then the the CP6600. its stiffer in construction with the center bridge design like its big brother the CP5555 (6 Piston) The caliper is more suited for track work then the CP6600. Its also fitted with anti-pad knock back springs. I Have talk to a few people using this caliper and they prefer it over the (6 piston) CP7040. The CP6600 has a similar look and design to factory fitted Nissan (4 piston) calipers and is more suited for Performance road applications. How ever you look at it there both good, but ones better at some things then the other. Also AP recommend there Black finish then the Red if your are considering doing Track work. Theres no point having nice shiny coloured calipers when it takes one drive down the road and there covered in Brake dust!
  4. Thanks for the Replys, At this stage it looks like I'll be going with option 4, But will be runing the CP 5200 4 piston caliper instead of the CP6600, which means runing a 330x28mm or 330x32mm DBA 5000 series rotor or similar. Should be able to manage this all for under $2950 Delivered after doing a lot of research I've decided you really need to work out whats going to be the best set-up in regards to maintenance and long term build quality. AP have years of good reputation from there products being used in all forms of Motorsport. If this means spending a couple more hundred, its worth it in the long term! G4/K sport kits are quite good for the price and i almost went that way but after seeing the two calipers side by side you really see were the quality is. also the prices for replacement pads and rotors are cheaper with the AP's. R33 GTR brembos just seem to be way over priced for a second hand caliper! Its really up to the individual in the end, and what you generally use your car for! Thanks for everyones opions. Cheers, Andrew
  5. Hmm not really they were R32 GTR calipers with a brembo sticker! haha
  6. Hey everyone. I've been Researching about a Front brake upgrades/Kits for my R31 Skyline with 300rwkw, I have fitted S13 Hubs which allows me a lot more braking options. will be runing a 17inch wheel, no larger. Tyres get more expensive the larger the rim you go! Car is used for club days (3-5 lap sessions) and will see the road once a week. My budget is Between $2000 - $3000. I have made a list of some of my options, see bellow 1. Second Hand R33 GTR Brembo calipers, 324x30mm RDA or DBA 4000 series rotors, Ferodo DS2500 pads, ADR stainless lines and motul RBF600 Brake fluid $2000 or there abouts if your lucky ? 2. G4 Racing 330mm Brake kit (includes all needed parts) with Ferodo DS2500 pads $2250 Delivered 3. K Sport 330 brake kit (includes all needed parts) with Ferodo DS2500 pads $2400 Delivered 4. AP racing 4 piston caliper, Mounts, DBA 4000 series 324x30 Rotor (off the GTR), goodridge braided lines, ferodo DS2500 pads, Motul RBF600 brake fluid. $2650 Delivered 5. CSC brake kit. Between $2500-3000 Theres a list of what I've been thinking of, I'm almost sold on option number 4 but not 100% sure as yet. Does anyone know if the G4/K sport calipers are fitted with Boot type dirt seals on the Caliper pistons ? Feel free to voice your opions, Thanks
  7. Still looking for a set!
