Ok no worries thanks for the advice.

The plugs were gapped to .08 when installed, i have a standard ECU running just under 10psi.

Heya all, im fairly new to the skyline scene bought my R33 series2 GTST in Jan. So im a little unsure about a popping noise comming from the bonnet when i put my foot down in boost. It would be fine until about 3000rpm then pop until 4000 then sound fine againal the way until i had to change gear. The bloke i bought it off also a memeber suggested that it could be the spark plugs as they had done about 20,000. So i swapped them out yesterday, the old ones looked a little used but no damage and the tips were still there. After the new plugs and an oil change i took it for a drive and seems to go fantastic again. untill everynow and then i hear a slight pop, but only everynow and then. like 95% of the time i can put ma foot down and be peferctly fine. The other 5% the dredded pop would be back although no where near as bad as before the plug change. could it be the coil packs or what?? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! cheers. Duffy
