Ok well lol thanks now I no guy who I got motor from really had no idea full stop, but I have had it looked at and new rings put in ect head cleaned up vaives reset, This why I asked as I had no real idea about this short peened rods caper

hey Puting head gasket on my rb30/25 It has short pined rods so have been told I don't need to run as thick of a head gasket? So just wondering how thick/ thin wood be the best?? And what brand wood be the best to run

Hey I have a front facing pleanum I got for my vl turbo but now don't need it as I need rb25 one for rb25/30, I got it of eBay cost me $538 or so. Hand sanded to 120 grade and then mirror polished. Plenum is made to suit N.A. Runners and use the original AAC valve and connections on the rear of it, so that it is simply a change over job to install and will work easily with the stock ecu.
