  1. Have you tried your local import wrecking yard? I actually have one that's currently on the box but i'm selling my rb25det gearbox as a complete conversion kit for an r32 and won't separate it. If someone ends up buying just the box and doesn't need the speedo sensor then i'll let you know.

  4. Ok, here's the update. We have started stripping the car as of today. Nearly all of the exhaust side is off including turbo, wastegate, dump/front pipes, complete exhaust system etc. 6boost manifold is nearly off but having a small issue with the very last bottom-left manifold nut. We're gonna start on the intake side sometime during this week and hopefully by early next week the car will be bare enough so we can organise to have the motor and gearbox removed and car stripped completely so it can be sold as a registered rolling shell. Long motor will be assessed and oil pump/crank collar replaced then sold separately. I'll post up the price for it once that's complete.   5. EXEDY - NSK-7056HHHDB Bit hard getting used to initially but feels great once worn in. I used it on the RB30/25DET in the R32 (and at one stage DETT until i converted back to a single). Ran 300rwkw for over 8000kms and did not slip once... until the oil pump let go...
  6. All i bought for the car was supersoft tyres and did an oil change, i couldn't really upgrade anything else. First attempt i got 4th. Then tried again the next day and got 2nd. Both times i came off the track at least twice. Then 3rd attempt i did 2x clean laps without coming off the track at all and gained 1st position halfway through the last lap. It's all about control and knowing when to push it and when not to push the car. I think the 'ring teaches you alot about controlling your braking and throttling skills because if you keep driving at full throttle like you would on say a shorter and far easier track, you will no doubt miss a corner or two hence slowing you right down. Anyone tried the Tsukuba seasonal time attack yet? I'm gonna give it a shot tonight as i've completed gold on all the currently available a-spec seasonal races.

Vehicle: 1992 HCR32 GTS-t Wheels: Work Emotion XD9 Sizes: 18x9+20 front and 18x10+18 rear Tyres: Bridgestone Potenza GIII's 235/40/18 fronts and 245/40/18 rears (minimal stretch) Guard modifications: Fronts - mean fitment/no rubbing, rears - rubbed shitloads until we rolled and flared the rear guards. now barely ever rubs unless i go over a big bump on the road at over 70-80kms Height: Slightly above legal limit Comments: Front didn't change much in terms of camber etc but rears cambered in a little and produced a bit of toe-in once we dropped the jack. never got around to buying a camber/toe adjustment kit but it didn't feel like it affected the cars handling very much so i didn't bother.   14. Had the same problem for a while in my car. Used to bubble for a few minutes after 20-30mins of spirited driving. Never ever overheated though. Nonetheless, I bought a new radiator and its never happened ever again.
  15. G'day mate. Don't have any interior pics as yet but i can organise that for you soon as i'm free most of this coming weekend. I haven't done anything to the car ever since we confirmed 100% that the oil pump was the issue. I just had it towed back to my house and haven't touched it ever since. I'd rather sell the car as a whole instead of stripping it because ideally, i'd like to see the new owner finish off what i've started. In the 5 years that i've owned and modified it, the car is pretty much 90% complete to exactly how i wanted the build to be. I wanted to create a 500hp daily streeter (roughly ~330rwkw) with a tough engine combo and JDM appeal. The only things left that i still wanted to do were hks camshafts, oil cooler, pmu slotted rotors, nismo 1.5-way diff, oem carbon fibre bonnet and oem carbon fibre boot from seibon carbon. Plus, obviously a re-tune with the new Power FC and bring it up to around 330rwkw. In regards to your question, i'm not willing to move very much on those 3 extra items. But if you're interested then it'll be 8k for the car with everything else, plus $2500 for Work rims/tyres, $1400 for the FC and $600 for the AVCR. So my offer for the entire thing will be $12,500.   20. Price drop - 9k as is with rego until mid-next year minus Rims/Power FC and AVCR. Selling at a loss because i cannot be bothered with it anymore and need the money for a V35 i've got my eyes on. So this car needs to go. I'll also be converting my plates back to standard issue plates this friday. Bottom end should still be ok according to my mechanic as the oil pump failure occured during when the car was idling for around 30 seconds a little while after the brand new clutch was installed. A new oil pump with new oil pump drive collar (proengines.com.au?) is all that's needed to have it back up and running. EDIT - Also forgot to mention that a new RB25DET gearbox has only just been installed and has so far travelled around 50kms.
  21. CAS or Fuel Pump could be dead? Check to hear if the pumps priming, otherwise try a new CAS. But take marksuxass' advice first and check for spark, then fuel.

Haven't started stripping the car as yet as i've currently got no spare time until towards the end of the year when i take my annual leave. Everything on the car apart from exhaust/gearbox/suspension etc has travelled between 5000-8000kms. Obviously stripping the entire thing and selling parts separately will take longer but is going to be the most profitable. However, i'm willing to part with the entire car as is with rego until May 2011 minus Work rims/Power FC and AVC-R for around the 10k mark. Throw me an offer if you're keen and want to negotiate. If the car is not sold as a whole by the around start/mid of next month then i will start stripping everything and all individual parts will be available to purchase by the beginning of next year.
