  1. Car is currently not for sale. The RB30/25DET is coming out and everything will be returned back to stock including the original RB20DET and gearbox. I will be selling the car now as a near-factory standard vehicle. I will also be stripping all of the modified components off and selling them all individually. Will update this thread with the complete list and pricing of the aftermarket parts shortly (as well as the revised price for the standard vehicle once it's converted back to stock). PM me if anybody has any questions. More details are posted on my blog (link in my signature).
  2. I'd love to but don't have a PS2 + GT4 anymore. I pre-ordered GT5 through work so hopefully we will get our copies shipped to us a few days prior to release meaning I'll be able to take it home earlier. Keen on the online time attack modes and Top Gear Test Track . Bring it on!!!!
  3. My mechanic had to shave the rear of my GReddy plenum to make it all fit. Didn't affect the tune or performance at all though which was good. But we later found out that an R33 GTS-t Clutch Master Cylinder would've done the trick. Oh well...
  4. G'day mate, Is this car still for sale?
  5. R32 for sale here as well, details in signature

  7. I've got one going to the bottom nipple on the external wastegate and the other going into my boost gauge inside the cabin (I think). But if you don't need to use them all then you can just block off the remaining nipples.
  8. Ah ok, well we can have more of a chat once we see each others cars. The body on my car is completely straight and hasn't been in any accidents in the 5 years that I've owned it. Front bar has a small lower lip crack though and body needs little touching up in a few areas. Other than that, the car is mechanically fine and runs well in the current state of tune (297rwkw@5800rpm/17.5psi). Engine has travelled around 8000kms since I've had it rebuilt so it's well and truly worn in and ready for the final tune with the new ECU. Minor oil changes and maintenance is done by me and major servicing, tuning and everything else is always performed at A.R.T. in West Heidelberg. I would be willing to bring the car for you to have a look/test drive but the gearbox is currently in the process of being replaced due to the input shaft bearing getting noisy and 5th gear crunching more frequently. I've ordered a new gearbox from Japan over 2 months ago and the container has finally arrived in Melb last week. We still can't empty it until the middle of next week unfortunately so I won't be able to organise anything with you until possibly the week after once the new box has been installed. Price will still stay the same ($17,500) once this is done. However, the new ECU (Power FC) and new boost controller (AVC-R) which has not been installed and tuned isn't factored into the price as of yet. I'll sell the car as is at the current price which is negotiable without these 2 items and without the Work rims. Or the price will be slightly revised if they are to be fully installed and tuned (Power FC=$1200, AVC-R=$700 is what I paid for these two parts and also tuning is roughly another $1000). Let me know what your thoughts are and the cash adjustment amount you are wanting. I'll get back to you once the gearbox is done. Will be in touch very soon.
  9. Or you could keep it N/A still and do things like intake mods, cams, plenum spacer, lightweight pulleys, extractors and a good retune. Might make you around 190-200rwkw. If you want more power then go down the stroker route and install a Brian Crower or similiar 4.2-litre stroker kit (this kit is quite affordable now). I've heard of some cars in the states pulling as much as 250rwkw with a redline above 7400rpm with kits like this installed plus all the support mods. If I end up modding a V35 this would be the route I personally would go down.
  10. HKS have a twin turbo kit for it as well as Power Enterprise Japan. Both come with practically everything you need including all the manifolds, piping, lines, injectors, intercooler etc to complete a bolt-on installation. The HKS kit I've seen also comes with an F-con V Pro (good luck getting that tuned down here though). Only thing you would need to add is possibly a stronger clutch, higher flowing fuel pump and a few other small bits and pieces.
  11. Absolutely beautiful car. Would love to take it off your hands if my 32 sells.
  12. I thought that RB26 injectors are low impedance and RB25 are high impedance? Pretty sure that's what I got told at the time from my tuner whilst in the process of upgrading my own injectors, if I remember correctly... Or does that not matter if the car uses an aftermarket ECU?
  13. Lol, I'll take you for another spin once I have it retuned with the new ECU and EBC. Going for around 340-350rwkw. We backed off at 5800rpm during the last tune with 17psi and made 297rwkw. This time around with the new ECU, Ray's gonna bring it up to 6400rpm with a bit more boost. Will keep you posted dude and e-mail you the updated dyno sheet in a few weeks.
  14. Swap for my car plus cash your way? Check the link on my signature for more info. Also, does this car have the pop-up sat nav factory option and dual zone climate control? And how many ks has the motor done? Anything remotely wrong with it that I should know about--any leaks, rattles etc.? Pretty interested...
  15. G'day mate. This car still for sale? I'm from Geelong also...

    Work Xd9's

Got my XD9's from JDM concept. Great service from Leo and very fast interstate shipping. Thinking about buying another set from him in either endurance/satin or matte black.
  19. I know of someone selling theirs for very cheap. Bodykit needs a bit of attention but otherwise it's be fine. It's in NSW though however... Let me know and I'll put you in touch with him
  20. Fronts - yes Rears - no
  21. Currently running an Exedy heavy duty uncushioned ceramic single plate on my car atm. 297rwkw for nearly 12 months and the clutch has not slipped once. I run the same gearbox as yours so if you're looking for the exact same clutch then the part number is = NSK-7056HDB. Got it through a mate, can't remember exactly how much I paid but I'm certain it was around the $450 mark. Brand new, came in a kit with new thrust and spigot bearings.
  22. 500hp at the motor is roughly 320-330kw at the rear wheels on a manual FR (dependant on drivetrain power loss--normally I go by 15% loss for 6cyl/FR/manual, 20% for 6cyl/FR/auto etc.). I found that formula on some automotive site years ago and been using it as a personal guide ever since. It is not truly accurate by any means but it does gives you an indication of power at the motor.
  23. Well during my run-in tune we only had to rev it to 5800rpm on 17.5psi and that already netted us 297rwkw on the RB30/25 combo (balanced and treated stock bottom end/forged low-comp pistons) with a GT3582BB. Speaking to my engine builder he recommended that my tuner should stick to a mild 6400/6500rpm redline when we re-tune it due to the RB30 crank and rods still being stock items. Plus it's a street car, I don't think that you'd really need to rev it that hard anyway if you're after longevity. I've well and truly ran the motor in now (completed around 8000kms) so it's actually due to go back to my tuners in a few weeks time for more boost and more rpm .
  24. Being using Motul 300V Competition 15W50 for a couple of years now... The RB likes it, I like it

    Spotted Thread

Spotted a clean silver 34 GT-T today driving past Geelong Grammar whilst some mates and I were parked at the nearby boat ramp taking some photos. Didn't catch the plates though because he was going a bit too fast when he drove past us...
