I'm okay with this - I was around the scene for that peak and ownership wise I got in on the tail end of the peak to enjoy at least a few years of it before big meets died off and before drift and stance culture faggotry came in.There's a silver lining in it now; I get to enjoy rarity as opposed to a scene; people see my car and see something they don't get to see often or they assume I stole it and will kill a baby in a pram. Look how popular VLs were in the day, they were everywhere and I didn't give them second looks, but now I study their condition if I see one on the road. Hoping the same happens for well kept Skylines, GTRs etc once they're all but written off. Who knows, some wealthy CEO might want to one day relive his youth and splash out on a car you can't buy easily anymore, not unlike the Aussie muscle cars from the 70s.
