It's more like being happy with 99% IMOI've seen guys go nuts on detailing, 30 page forum threads of the process, every square inch gone over with the paint depth tools and microscopes, they usually have some severe OCD going on and have their eyeballs to the paint for imperfections. Fine if your car is never driven, ever, but how many cars can claim that? Truthfully, from 30cm+ where you and most people see it, and where my mirror shine phone photo was taken from, you can't see the paint past the shine to spot imperfection. Actually IMO my photo is more of a mirror than the others granted it's a sharp angle.
Where I don't think 100% is worth it, is that no more than a week after chasing and obtaining perfection and paying a small fortune for it, rain or a bird or some dick or some stone chips will come along and fk up 100% and bring you back somewhere around 90% anyway! Shit I get angry at this on my home detail job let alone spending money
