  3. Was he walking on the left side of the road
  4. I've decided housing affordability = directly proportional to Alex's financial position
  5. There are no factors that can directly and heavily influence more than a Chinese buyer swooping in 70k above at auction. No population demographic shift dual income interest rate super owners grant will change that. There are REAs in areas who won't even answer customer emails if they don't have a Chinese sounding last name.
  6. Right here, let me crack open SPSS student edition (Alex kryptonite) and get a T value on his ass
  7. What is happening in the west, or your locale, is a different situation to the east. Once the most expensive properties are bought up where do you think they will turn to for suburban living? It's a matter of time.
  8. Are you serious...I just told you that a moment ago
  9. We're actually saying buying house these days vs 20+ years ago is NOT comparable...
  10. The point remains, whatever you want to say about a generation of people, housing in Australia is getting ridiculous. It's a problem you should be concerned about, because it means more tax on you to fund the welfare of people who can't afford their own housing, whether they have shitty work ethic or not.
  11. The wages are not proportionally high. If I could be bothered I'd go searching for that graph that shows the median wage : house price and how much closer it was in our parents heyday, but I'm part of that generation so I won't. Edit: found an article (unfortunately news.com.au, but the facts remain) http://mobile.news.com.au/finance/money/years-of-change-what-were-paying-way-more-for/story-fnagkbpv-1227239199146 The ratio has nearly tripled in terms of housing affordability
  12. Even if this sweeping generalisation is true, what chance are you giving them with such an inflated market?I'm not a housing bubble person, but we reputably have some of the most expensive housing in the world...that's a huge title to have. Set to get worse given it's not just Australia's population eyeing the market.
  13. Bayswater and Ferntree Gully now - Bayswater is going to be the next Chinese super city There's a preschool in Boronia, now with a huge sign out the front saying "we teach Mandarin" lol
  14. They're no longer foreigners if they have PR from acquiring an Australian business and enough assets
  15. That's just what the market needs, more rentals and less affordable housing This will ensure a sustainable future and the financial security of many well into fheir retirement
  16. Corruption never hurt anyone
  17. f**k off dad
  18. I mean the generation 0-40 Though I think it's a societal shift brought on by technological change and cheaper material goods rather than isolated to one generation Even my 59 year old mother can't wait for the next iPhone...had to get a 6S to replace her worn out 6...from 12 month ago.
  19. I imagine it's part of the generation who can't wait a few months for something
  20. SG taxi drivers got a mad hate on for them even though they are half their fares. SGs have been forced out to the fringe. One driver warned me it could happen to Australia too Then I warned eastern suburbs Melbourne and VWL and yeah...too late. Rekin's ego suffered many dents at the hands of 18 year old cashed up Chinese princesses owning the auctions.
  21. This is likely because of the cornchips eaten by the person whose beer vomit they recycled that shit from
  22. Alex wtf m8 I thought you were married
  23. I'll get some VB for you later
  24. Sif you're gonna follow that car plan
  25. A hard earned thirst Needs a big fat dick
