  1. Day got a little better - shares finished up 20% for the day Penny stocks are painfully slow, but when they hit a win...
  2. Bit of both It's a visitor space he's parking in (even though he's a permanent visitor; his girlfriend lives in the complex) and the guy in the visitor space next to him is parked a fair way over too. His car is simply too big for the limited space left for him. If I wasn't hugged up against the other side of my space to keep my distance from the visitor cars (clearly this is working) then his oversized hipster douchebag utility wouldn't even get in there. My black car doesn't move so I don't care about him blocking me in, but I've seen the way this kid drives, like a fkin retard, and I don't like it, or seeing him park this close to my car. I don't believe someone is guiding him in and it's only a matter of time before he hits a car down there.
  3. Think I need to have a word to this kid
  4. As soon as Barry gives me an ETA I'll multiply it by 2-3 and let you know Waiting for some parts at the moment apparently Doing some oil supply bulletproofing
  5. Yeah either way I don't really care about the top end power figure; never have. Within reason (obviously I'll be shitty if it finishes up at 250), but it's the midrange and linear torque I want here. I judge this by acceleration and seat of the pants alone.
  6. Yes but not nearly as fun as paying out hub dyno people for thinking they have more power than they do
  7. It's also going to be Tybe B cammed so that should change the dynamics a bit...
  8. That's what I want. Being able to take off in 2nd gear is going to be great.
  9. Barry believes it, with E85. RB26s with 98 make about 340-350 with GT-SS.
  10. Swapping down the track isn't too difficult...GT-SS hold their value well and usually worth a little more than -5, so I'm looking at the cost of a turbo swap and a retune for bigger turbos if I want more power. I love my responsive GTS-T though and would want a similar set up in the R. Only need to put low boost through a 30 to get big numbers, plus it'll be E85 after the 98 tune.
  11. I don't care about the top end just yet and the car came with GT-SS...a top end that dies off at 400awkw is still a fast car. Is it fast enough so we can fly away? I don't know. Everyone goes for 11ty unusable gearbox breaking kw in their GTR...rather do something cheaper, different and friendlier for the street. Acceleration in any gear at any rpm, that's the plan.
  12. I'm putting a spoon engine in the GTR
  13. Sad and oh so true
  14. Should cost a lot less than that but end up with similar power Building for response though Barry wants me to -5 but I'm sticking with the GT-SS for now
  15. My stock bike was supposedly 9 seconds lol
  16. Be better off buying some decent tyres and making more use out of current power
  17. Chequered tuning 1000hp / stock
  18. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/459199-vic-fs-1000hp-vy-ss-ute-35k/#entry7592670 35k for a stock power VY ute? gtfo
  19. Get a job as a dish hand Send money back home
  20. I thought you did that on purpose because VL
  21. Yes getting ahead of traffic and staying the fk away from cars altogether is a good idea most of the time. However those are just the guys who try to merge you off the road with their blind spot or plain shitty awareness. The ones you really gotta watch for are people pulling out on you from a side street onto a main road - and they're more likely to do this to a bike on it's own with no traffic around it (in this case riding with traffic can be safer). Also, getting to the front of the lights is good, just make sure you look both ways before taking off quickly, even when your light is green, cause plenty of people run reds and a lot of motorcyclists have died this way.
  22. Love the old turning lane to front of lights trick. Hate it when the lights to green though and you have to cut in. Also Matt if riding in packs it's considerate to go down the split to the front and then peel out to the side a bit to let fellow riders through to the front next to you. But you learn all that anyway.
  23. I've hit a van's mirror once (good luck to them catching you), but you generally have more room than it looks like from third person perspective. You pick and choose your splits and weaves. Trucks are usually a no go as they always have a narrow gap between them and the car in the lane next to it. Splitting is much safer in peak hour traffic I think, but the dangerous spots are those keep clear spaces where cars can just randomly pull out into your lane because they see cars stopped before it.
  24. Never fired a gun before; you clearly don't matter
