Please...these engines come to Australia with 100-150,000km+ already on them, after sitting in storage unserviced, then we go and double or triple their factory power without opening them up. It's testament to their exemplary engineering that I've have 280rwkw for over 100,000km, with 220,000 on the odo (aka actually 320,000), having only ever replaced a head gasket 20,000km ago because I thrashed the thing around a racetrack. Once that was replaced it felt like a new engine again! I don't limiter bash but I definitely drive that engine hard. Most of the common issues that appear on SAU are just standard wear items like coilpacks, wrong spark plug / gap, boosting/turbo related or not making the power they want. Let's face it, just by looking at the condition and appearance of many Skylines, they haven't had the most meticulous owners over the years and I doubt many are as anal as I about servicing every 5,000km with new plugs and oil/filter, which I maintain has helped with engine longevity. You can't beat Japanese reliability. The Aussie sedans give them a good run in our own backyard, but the engineering isn't quite the same league.

Pretty decent growth suburb - 11% from memory. Vacant land is practically non existent and old houses are being snatched up for current and future subdivision. Fountain Gate is a massive draw card, as is the Monash cutting through the suburb. Will be what Rowville is now in about 5-7 years. Especially with Cranbourne filling out farmland with estates left right and centre - would not want to live down there with insane congestion on the way. Much needed freeways down there. Berwick and Endeavoir Hills have also gone nuts. As the more established and gentrified suburbs, they're boosted by Narre's growth the same way Narre is by Cranbourne and Clyde.

In the South East My immobiliser and kill switch have saved me each and every time. Better off leaving a key in the ignition so they don't destroy the barrel. Once they've realised it won't start without a fob they piss off. The only way they'll get my car is by towing it. They are teenagers looking for joy rides and bragging rights on Facebook. It's not about money and selling parts like it used to be.
