  2. For those who saw my snapchat of this yesterday If that's genuine, which it looked, 500kw and 1300kg Regular SLR was 460kw and ~1700kg+ and still did 0-100 in ~3.4 seconds
  3. Is there a chance the track could bend?
  4. How could you stuff that up after I explained it so clearly lol
  5. Need a cassette type transmission like a bike That would be a big advantage to building one of those motorbike engined smart cars, instant clutchless sequential shifting
  6. Fictional is all the more reason to claim it; no real world result to back it up Lucky for Frosty it wasn't a real track or my GTS-T with KU31s could have rekt his contract renewal chances
  7. Daytona USA would have been a different story
  8. Got schooled by Winterbottom on a Phillip Island racing sim 1:54 vs 1:41 Surprised how well he did; those sims can be counter intuitive to real drivers. Obviously pays to know the track well
  9. If you get a total derelict like I did they'll just break the ignition and ride away on it

  12. Don't do that, kids of teachers at the school get left out; don't you remember the playground code
  13. My logic says hard working parents with successful businesses, but higher probability of spoiled kids who've been handed life on a silver platter = little ambition to succeed.I went to a private school that was about 12k a year by the end of it. There was the same mix you could find at any school, we had hard workers, geeks, jockish people, lazy people, wealthy families with spoilt kids who never had to pay for anything themselves; comparatively poor people whose parents wanted a chance at a better education for them. I reckon you could find all that anywhere, but obviously a fair few more of the rich families. We had fk all hot girls, which sucked. We were really starved for decent looking girls or even girls with persobality, and the one or two that we had were into dating 25 year olds with cars. Speaking of, mate got a brand new 318i as a year 12 graduation present. I don't think public schools are what they were decades ago and neither are private schools. The gap is much narrower with access to technologies and resources, and unless you're sending them to a private school with a student culture that thrives on achieving high results, neither type of school will guarantee a better future for your kid. Plenty fell into the bad crowd at my school and there are plenty of bad crowds at public too. I'll be sending my kids to public, and using the money I save to pay them to do chores before they can legally work...give them that sense of earning and success from hard work that seems to be missing a lot these days. I'll also be making sure they study hard because I believe the parenting is more important than the school they go to.
  14. Which is why the Chinese families are buying up the suburban homes because to them the backyard is luxury, and so will it be in our near future. See them at Domain Chandon taking photos of just the open space there lol, unseen beauty back in the mainland.
  15. The words of a true dunce
  16. I couldn't live in the west simply because of how flat and boring it is. Suburb after suburb of the same kit houses and no real hills to create views / points of interest. Sadly parts of the east are heading that way too with new estates going up and old houses being sold and subdivided to fit as much density as possible. Pat is right about that one.
