  1. Yes, well, bureaucracy doesn't work. It gets exploited from both directions and common sense goes out the window.
  2. GTR registered No RWC required Guy did have a weird look on his face when he walked out to see it on Jack's tow truck. Also saw Russell there coincidentally.
  3. Then as is the natural progression of alphabetical order, we can refer to you as H@MO
  4. I did wonder what you were cracking open VBs for at the tail end of Australia Day but then I just carried on living my life
  5. Simpsons reference
  6. We're finding excuses to punch Mohsen these days?
  7. lol'd at guy in Vic section with same name as Hamish. Time to change your name for originality old chap.
  8. Drive faster Hamish, Hamish's gaining on us
  9. Came up alongside a 458 this morning. For once a Ferrari driver who actually drives their car, even if it was only half throttle. He tail gated me a fair bit, and revved engine alongside / did little bursts of acceleration, but wouldn't go the WOT rolling. Surely he wasn't scared? Pretty sure he would have got me.
  10. Only available in Philippines Would still eat cause no fks given for fat content #allaboutthattaste
  11. Running fine for me I better go catch it
  12. If you find someone who's in the market for a black 34, they'll come right to you. Could just be a slow period what with Christmas and all...no one wants to spend money straight after Christmas. Kudos to you for being a realist and asking people what it's worth in case you missed the mark.

    Need A Tow Truck

This isn't far from the truth. Had a tow up in Canberra that was $80 cash and about 40 mins of driving.

    Need A Tow Truck

Very generous! Thank you for the offer. Thanks for the replies guys. Hopefully this thread gives people a few numbers to work with in future. Jack did the deed and a wonderful job too. Awesome looking truck he has.
  15. Looks like a fair price to me, cheap even. I'd be taking a look if I was in the market for a 34! It's only been two weeks, I'd stay where you are pricewise. Location might deter some Melbourne buyers. I mean I've travelled interstate for the right car, but some people aren't as motivated. Maybe put up some interior and engine bay pics as these can be deal breakers for people browsing cars.
  16. Ain't nobody got time for that when the egg cravings set in
  17. Heard Mohsen's front bar caught fire Seriously though, hope you find the fker
  18. Hollandaise or the deconstructed with bacon bits and garlic bread?
  19. There'll be no more allusions to Ric's vase selecting skills
  20. Do gifts have to be about what people need though? It used to be something to remember people by or a nicety that you wouldn't buy yourself but it's justified if it's gifted. Guarantee you won't remember who gave you what money at the wedding in 10 years, or what it paid for. Ric gonna be remembered for a long time and that vase will shine up instead of being spent on a holiday or the next iPhone.I should mention I'm not necessarily a fan of gift registries either. I'm saying it's a generational thing and that's why both givers and receivers are content with it. I bet 20-30 years ago though, if you gave someone cash and weren't a parent or close relative people would think it lazy and unthoughtful. Just saddens old me a little that that tradition seems to be disappearing.

  22. I think there's more chance of you not rocking up to your own wedding
  23. Or you get bombed right?
  24. This is my point though...gifts were a tradition and now out the window People used to not have that stuff People used to be bothered buying it and getting something they didn't have Ain't no one got a Versace vase, nice move Ric - they'll remember your swagger everytime they look at that vase
  25. Don't think I've been to a wedding in the last ten years that hasn't said no gifts but a donation is welcome / leave your cash at the door Tradition of giving gifts seems to be dead from where I see it Says a lot about what our society/generation has become though hey We see more value in people funding our shit / paying for our wedding / honeymoon than sentimental gifts that will last and be remembered. Maybe we expect a high chance the marriage to go down the gurgler, or maybe cash means more to us because living is expensive. Either way, it's an annoyingly faceless gift.
