I have to agree with this, concerts are much better. I hate ridiculous crowds and walking for a long time amongst them to do anything. SoundWave was worth the crowd though.

Went to it last year in Bunbury, had some decent artists. Dizzee Rascal, Presets, Disclosure, Parkway Drive, Karnivool, Peking Duk, Vance Joy But yeah Simon is right, it's pretty much the better / more commercially successful Triple J artists. Admittedly it was pretty good and I hate Triple J. The good thing is it's topless wog and pillhead and f**kwit free if you don't mind bogans. Less oversold too. Fair bit of electronic/dance there if that's your thing.
