  2. But all those expenses and potential costs of building mean SFA if no one is buying it. But yes, patience and not needing to sell urgently is a big help in getting what you want for a car!
  3. Surprised he hasn't dropped the price yet
  4. It's nonlinear too.
  5. Came in here expecting rare molluscs I leave disappointed
  6. That this thing is advertised for the same price my GTR was, is disgraceful.
  7. I don't know why ethanol is seen as any more corrosive than petrol. Is it, Alvin? Either way, 90s Skyline lines can take it and most fuel injected fuel lines should be able to, unless they are crumbling away. Remember the Brazilians have been using this shit for decades in the same or lesser cars and would probably laugh at the superstitions floating about here. A mate of mine has a few petrol stations and even he thought the stuff was evil for whatever reason, til I showed him my dyno graph before and after! Now wants to run in his race cars
  8. Is PFC accurate? Relies on gearing and engine speed yeah?
  9. Speedos lose their accuracy above a certain speed; it's unlikely anyone looking at a speedo 200+ down the main straight of PI is actually doing that speed. GPS only way to tell. I think it's easier for cars to come out of that last sweeper onto the main straight with more speed already built up. Plus 600s die in the ass above 200, top out around 260-270.
  10. As for ethanol, all you need is a fuel pump and injectors that can deliver it fast enough, and a tune / whatever mods to support your power. That's it. The rest is a wank. Uncomplicated science that people - usually those who aren't running the stuff - make into a big ol' Poirot murder mystery. I'm all about that E85, 2 years now, no treble.
  11. A mate of mine just came back from PI; his first time there and second track day...lodged a 2:17 for the day. I imagine he'll be cutting off a few seconds ala dezz with the next visit. Jelly cause I was supposed to go with him
  12. I carry my laptop with me and when I run out of E85 with no E servos in range, just switch to a rich 98 tune when there's about 5-10 litres left. Runs on this mix fine, can even give it a boot. Flex is for poor planning.
  13. Lucky E85 is $1.03/litre at the moment lolFilled up yesterday almost on parity, it was glorious
  14. Me too...
  15. Honestly I bought a GTR for the badges, they look nice and I couldn't find cheap badges on ebay for my GTS-T
  16. 33Rs are easily the best value. Only a few more grand than the previous model and half the price of shitty examples of the next model. Looked at 32s and 34s, thinking no other cars really excite me these days or offer the same kind of value; nearly bought that silver v spec 32 in glaze's thread. Never used to find 33Rs attractive, but they've grown on me over last few months of scoping for sale section. 33 interior > 32
  17. GTR arriving tomorrow morning...that was quick.
  18. Almost cheaper than flying me there and back Fk that ATR 72 turbulence too
  19. I've done my share of interstate car towing...prolly would have if I still had access to a race car trailer and time wasn't an issue. $400 depot to door from Canberra, pretty happy with that.
  20. Thanks gents It's gotta get to Melbourne first and that was an absolute nightmare organising transport on the day I was supposed to be flying back Transporter knocked it back cause needed 15cm ground clearance so I had to remove the front lip and leave it in ACT...no biggie as it was damaged anyway. Took off the brake ducts too but they are with me.
  21. I don't even wanna moh you
