  1. Elipses = 3 full stops in a row I got full stops coming out the wazoo
  2. Would it kill ya to use a full stop al
  3. Yeah I'm with Swann/QBE Always cheap But yeah have had to re-sign with them every time I renew; they do the same trick as JCI
  4. Wasn't this an accident where someone hit you? JCI are pretty shit with their renewals...I have phoned them up before and complained about the cost of renewal, and the lowest they could give me was $100 more per year than the cost of a brand new policy...with less agreed value...girl on phone agreed I should just start a new policy? lol So I've done that twice now...
  5. It's on very limited use now Sorry
  6. If someone reverses into your door, you have choice of repairer at the expense of them or their insurance company... Nothing wrong with Just Cars repairers though, they all have to repair to a standard which you are satisfied with or you can challenge it and take to VCAT - not that I think you would have to - Just Cars have a rep to uphold themselves and Mick isn't the only panel beater in town who knows how to spray a car. I used a Just Cars recommended repairer myself despite them giving me a choice, because out of the quotes I got, they were the only ones who were gonna do a proper job and replace/weld in new metal instead of using bog etc. Very happy customer here, aside from my poor decision to choose a low premium / high excess when I signed up...but have saved a bit of coin over the years by doing that anyway. Pat, do Just Cars offer any limited use policies?
  7. If I bypass the heater core will my car run hotter or will it be cooler cause less hot air in the cabin
  8. tl;dr Racepace > Chequered
  9. Would be good to have a day to settle this dyno argument once and for all. From what I've seen myself, a lot of cars tuned at Trent's and other hubs have made less on roller dynos. I remember a few of the Trent customers at an SAU dyno day at RE customs whinging about being 40-50rwkw down on power, meanwhile my standard boost GTS-T made 165rwkw on there which wouldn't be far off the mark. Have heard similar things from a fair few people in other car clubs, when going from one dyno to the other. And whilst I'm supportive of everything Stao does, The consensus in his thread has always been great turbos, but no one can come within Stao's power results with the same turbo, unless they have also had their car tuned at Trent's. We've all been about 10% shy of it. Either he's the best tuner in Melbourne by several kw or there's a bit of random happiness in the dyno? But yeah, would love to see a double dyno day with 5-10 cars on the hub and then 5-10 at another place like RPM to settle the argument. Happily concede there's no difference if there's little variance in results. As for tuning and costs at RPM, both occasions for me have been more than fair and this is from a GTS-T owner. Even if it was charged at a premium, fair enough, they have earned a reputation in the Skyline community and upholding that means going to extra lengths and ensuring quality - not that other workshops don't or that they're the only good workshop in Melb, but I know that anytime I pickup my car from there it's going to be faultless. You can sell a car with RPM workmanship in the body text and it's a selling point because of that rep.
  10. Funny that, she ate a solid dinner lastnight and listened to my training lolThis was actually a training prep/test for a novice lifting comp on Sunday. So squats were well past parallel, deadlifts without hitching and bench was done with a pause at the chest and me giving the go ahead to "press". She did very well and only missed one lift, which is great considering there was hardly any rest between lift attempts (we got all this done in under an hour).
  11. I think WPC has less or very little lactose in it, couple people I know have felt sick after consuming compared to WPI. But yes WPI is more highly refined it's like skim milk versus full cream. Less fat but at what cost, the former is basically water. You get *slightly* more protein per gram from WPI, but if you're not lactose intolerant, WPC is probably more derivative of actual whey than WPI. In short, I have no clue, but someone might know.
  12. Summoned he has been
  13. Her routine is fine and still presenting gains; going very well considering how little time is spent working out and no assistance exercises; she is on a little plateau for 1RMs and I wouldn't even call it that, given progress is still being made in volume weights and reps when it's not being made with 1RMs. Read the rest of the thread and you'll see the steady increases leading up until the last week or so. It's nothing but impatience from someone who skips dinner and wonders why the lifts aren't there the next day.
  14. I'd blind you with a camera flash and given Apple doesn't support flash you'd be fresh out of luck
  15. WPC was always my game...if I recall correctly I swayed you onto it from WPI Troy.
  16. And her tampon string being made
  17. SCA bee sting aerial, -3 days per calendar year
  18. Then how do you explain the earth going through several cycles of heating and cooling over millions of years
  19. I see your lengthy weapon and raise you pyjamas no self disrespecting hipster could ever cut through
  20. I sleep on the floor, good luck reaching me even with a scythe
  21. Nah, love my car...not worth selling and I know I would miss it; supported by what everyone says here about their maroon R33s once they sell them. But trying to decide if tracking it is the way to go, given the current exterior condition, or repair and respray for dat mint daily driver. Worried I'll miss it on the daily grind if I track the thing, worried about spending that much on a paint job and getting sick of it or it breaking in a few months / that's money that could be put towards an RX7 / something else stupid. inb4 why not both...not getting a 3-4k paint job and tracking it.
  22. Yeah but with the Garretts you miss out on the left field R&D that Stao puts in to individually better each of his turbos, such as his FNT design, which makes a significant difference to lag. My HG is as responsive as equivalent BB Garretts pushing similar power and produces that power at a lower RPM - dyno graph was actually comparable to that of an HKS GTRS, but for half the price. This is using a Nissan comp cover too - gone are the days of highflows being laggy substitutes for a proper Garrett. Tony can attest how responsive my car is to drive. He can do roller bearings and anti surge slots for Garrett money if you're prepared to pay for it, but there's really no point with smaller turbos - he's tested both designs and they produced much the same response. If you're not happy with a turbo he'll take it back and modify it until you are. Then if you want more power in future or to take advantage of upgrades he's made to turbos, he'll modify your turbo for a small fee. That's where I see the value in it...
  23. HG turbo checking in, 15,000km and spinning like the day it was put in
  24. I agree with this sometimes in the case of boredom, but now that my car is where I want it modification wise, I have no desire to modify further but still want to keep it.
