  1. lol @ redoing a fuel system to handle E85. Bigger injectors are all you need, and a fuel pump, but most people do that anyway with their 98 petrol modifications. Have switched back to 98 a couple of times and the engine is just so much happier on E85. Not even for the power; it's the smoother more consistent idle and feeling like a brand new engine compared to petrol, which you seem to be able to feel the mileage with. Starting in super cold winter is the only time it's not happy on E, but once she cranks you're all good. Get on it! There's a reason you've never heard someone convert to E85 and say this sucks don't do it man. Even Hatish loved it. And lol my phone auto corrects to Hatish now.
  2. Can you prove that a lack of E85 wasn't the reason?
  3. That's not a nice thing to say about Paul's Micra
  4. Ironically that OCD is the most physically debilitating ailment
  5. If I wanted a track or drift car that would be a good start. Body's not in bad nick, though. It's what these idiot P platers should be buying and storing instead of spending 10k on an N/A version of that.
  6. Yeah I mean 2 weeks without gym...nothing, nada. And gorge on food. That's 14 days of solid recovery with the fuel to do it. You might come back a tad weaker but your body will love you for it! Of course there's nothing you can really do about old tired joints or degeneration
  7. You guys may benefit from taking a week to two weeks off. Muscle I'm guessing heals quicker than cartilage and inflamed joints; you may feel a lot better after a decent break. I think it's good for the muscles too, to have an extended period of rest every now and then, particularly if you're lifting heavy most of the time. When I get sick and this forces me to stop gym for a week or two, I almost always come back stronger (eventually) after that annoyingly long period of making your way back. I'm pretty sure that's because everything has been well rested and properly healed. Probably a good idea to do mobility stretches in the second week too.
  8. Bargain assuming not clapped out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/443383-r33-gtst-s2-rb2530
  9. The stories behind why chicken 65 is called that are fking cool, makes me want to eat it more. P.S. It's Rich Mahal now...no idea why the name change, but has been for 2 years.
  10. I know how picky Plattsy is about his soldiers
  11. Now hungry for enemy soldiers Enemy soldier night @ Alvin's this sat
  12. Fair enough then. Cause my third party theft is about $300 on Skyline and that covers theft for $10k, which is fine for a 33.Used to be full comp but didn't see the point to $800 full comp on a car worth 10k and especially not when the full comp excess is higher than the third party excess. One year of third party and I've already saved an excess worth of dollars or money to repair some shit happening to my car.
  13. I tried to articulate it as best I could
  14. Is your car worth more than 10k? And by that I mean, are you currently insured for more than that, that they would pay out to you?
  15. There's more to it than tolerances too. I'd refer to a large range of atypically spicy foods as being hot, despite me being able to tolerate bhut jolokia ingredients. So to me it's like saying a car isn't fast. You could say the new GTR is fast...then some wanker who drag races professionally could say it's not, just to try and make himself feel superior to everyone else. But the car is still fast, because it's faster than a hell of a lot of cars and most people would say it's fast. Similarly, chicken 65 has a solid kick to it and the writing chalked on the window by the chef says says hot, too...so it's hot. Hatish
  16. Aka third party, for which $700 is a joke rip off.
  17. The meats are hit and miss, sometimes great sometimes shit. You go there for their roti, which is always perfection and good value. Khazana at Knox O-Zone do a good Indian feed. Banquet is all you can eat mains and it's much better quality than Rich.
  18. And complaining. Wahhhh my water broke! Quiet bitch, Credence Clearwater is on.
  19. If you like the spice, chicken 65 hot at Rich Mahal. Can be a tad dry sometimes. Beef rendang is good too.
  20. Indirectly, yeah. I'd say the big factor is the number of applications "clubs" (read: groups of mates) have made for club rego status/ability of recent. Can't say no if they qualify for them, but things would be out of control with self scrutinising clubs so they've clamped down and phased out self scrutiny altogether...except of course for models too old to be imports...very convenient indeed. Though I'd say this last bit has more to do with RWC places having no fking clue how to scrutinise some older vehicles.
  21. One wrist or both? If both then likely grip position / technique If just one it sounds like underlying injury that gets aggravated by the movement.
  22. Made 240 on 19
  23. Carlos cantina in Boronia...half price Monday Tuesday Wednesday. Fast food prices with restaurant food. All kinds of win.
  24. The mexicrinkle seasoning is what makes them. Just like peri salt is what makes Nandos. Now, I love Mexican, but can we all agree that every Mexican dish is the same thing in a different shape - beef/chicken and corn with some sort of salad item and cheese. This covers enchiladas, tacos soft and hard, burritos, fajitas, nachos, quasedillas and so on.
  25. Average mate, I hit a bad bout of tonsilitis / yeast infection and lost 20kg off the bar from taking a couple weeks off. It's taking significantly longer to get the strength back Back on the rise again, though. I think last session I pulled 100 x 10, 140 x 8, 180 x 1, 170 x 3.
