  1. So who's taking the 22nd/23rd/24th off for a 10 day holiday?
  2. I believe that's against the law and would like to cite Events vs Stories (1986). IIRC the obiter dictum in that particular case was "those such events occurring in Vegas should thereafter remain there indefinitely."
  3. With guards rolled by Aaron and a Scotty exhaust
  4. I'd say you're behaving erratically lately, Grnat.
  5. I don't understand that bullshit excuse...if the margin for error is that tiny before you enter the "danger zone" (i.e. exactly 2km/h over the speed limit), to warrant low speed fines...then why not reduce speed limits another 5km/h? As they are clearly too high with such a small margin of error. VicPol seems to think humans are robots, what with our impeccable ability to maintain exact speed whilst looking at the road and their superhuman ability to detect decibel readings with their ears and distort reality with their minds ala Matrix style.
  6. Plenty, but you must work in the country.
  7. Detected speed is what showed on the radar, i.e. the speed you were actually doing assuming accuracy of equipment. Alleged is detected speed minus 2km/h if a cop and 3km/h if a camera, giving benefit of doubt which covers equipment inaccuracy and the odd chance your speedo is reading low...this is the speed that you get charged based on. Speedos from factory are usually generous because the opposite creates law suits. Therefore if alleged speed is a couple km over the limit, fair to say your speedo was probably displaying ~7-8km/h over the limit, unless you have recalibrated your speedo or changed your tyre circumference to a bigger size, which will make you as fast as or faster than what the speedo is actually displaying. From what I hear most cops don't bother with 5km/h detected over / flamin mongrel fines. You would have to be picked on for them to get you for a couple km/h over. Cameras are a different story of course...
  8. Pretty dated website...have seen 7 on a Ferrari a couple of years ago. But like I said they prolly swap them around regularly. You wouldn't wanna leave one on there too long or park your car anywhere regularly else opportunists knock off the plate and give no fks for damaging the vehicle in the process.
  9. I've seen the way you drink, you've got a lead foot.
  10. More than you can afford pal, Glenmorangie
  11. Lollies/chocolates > alcohol
  12. I'll stick to collecting random alcohols, I'm not really a connoisseur in anything!
  13. I knew if but I had to hear it before I truly believed it. Thank you, Corsican.
  14. I thought you were alluding to being a purveyor of bullshit, but that works too I guess
  15. It would have been traded around a fair bit and I imagine someone with 1 wanting to swap it between their tens of cars often, to show off the plate, else be confined to driving the same car.
  16. And why are you eating toblerone on an old gold serviette? Tell me I'm looking too far into it, but why are you eating Swiss chocolate when when you are French? Is this triangle shaped, solid nougat supposed to be a throw back to Napoleon's crossing of the Swiss alps? You trying to be ironic? I think Hamish would have something to say about that...
  17. Just saw number plate "2" on a grey Ferrari on Toorak Rd. Curious if the owner would feel elated pulling up next to number "1" or a sense of inferiority...

  19. Don't believe in flu shots... I've had flu maybe twice in my life. I'll take that over being given it intentionally for a two day spill of feeling shit every year. Not as if you can't catch another strain anyway! I'm off antibiotics too...have never taken them until the past year and on both occasions they've left me worse than the ailments they were meant to speed up the recovery of.
  20. There you go son, some blackup from Birds.
  21. Harold and Kumar delivering immense lulz
  22. I think it's more because immune system resistance drops in the colder temperatures, leaving us more susceptible to catching shit and therefore transmitting if. Plenty of colds going around in summer but I have definitely had more in winter.
  23. Really, how often do you have to lift something over your head outside of the gym? What are you donkey kong? Deadlift and squats much more important than any press movement IMO. I doubt powerlifting would even include bench if they didn't need a test of upper body strength in the mix.
  24. Yet they sold heeeeaps of them lol. I cringe every time I see someone at a car meet with one.
  25. Those things are hideous lol Don't care how comfortable or cheap
