  1. I never leave. What car did you buy?
  2. Hey Jeremy
  3. Poor grammar Because Indian...
  4. +1 photos ruined by non R34 GTR peasant vehicles
  5. R34 circle jerk pics brought lulz It just made them look like a collection of matchbox cars; totally lost their appeal and individuality.
  6. lol @ VW's 80s marketing Can't blame them, though; there's not exactly a shortage these days of people wanting to finance their way into sub-Euro so they can feel like they own a Beamer/Benz. VW salesmen see this and use the classic tactic of denting the ego by making them feel like they can't afford / aren't important enough to be a VW customer?
  7. I'm with Dezz I woulda made a point about them not actually answering the question but I'm kind of upfront and discourteous like that, don't really like salesman obviously dodging shit. All you got from that is that the GTI is popular? At least you didn't buy from em. Next VW dealer you go to, tell them how your experience went at the last one? Should make them drop the templated sales pitch. That being said, it could be true that the GTI is popular and they are selling enough not to give a shit about answering questions. I remmeber when I was looking at bikes a few years ago and no Kawasaki dealer would give me a Ninja 250R test ride without a deposit because they were new and selling out before they hit the dealership. They have no f**ks for customers unless you were going to buy something that was on the showroom floor.
  8. The SS1PU pushes it back further because it's a new turbine housing, not just a high flow of the stock housing. I've had no clearance issues issues, there was plenty of room for my exhaust...still is. Air con drip hose (?) was slightly touching the dump pipe, but I tied it back and it doesn't contact anymore. Will do a detailed post in the HG thread later today to kill some myths, as I've seen a bit of garbage posted in there lately.
  9. Same bolt pattern, not sure about distance, but it doesn't matter, cause OP6 has been fitted many times without issue. If you're going through HG just give him a 2IU housing and get an SS1PU.
  10. Your fuel economy is fine for an N/A 2.5 6 cylinder of that age. If you used 39 litres and got 350km, that's around 11L/100km.I don't think your fuel sender is terribly inaccurate either. If you assume that half a tank is 30 litres and you were on the next bar, 39 litres isn't a stretch. There's still a good 7-8 litres left after the needle touches the last line. I wouldn't worry about running out of fuel until your fuel light comes on. It's a bit past the last line on the gauge, just before the needle touches E.
  11. Fair enough if you don't like the sound/accent/production. That was an acquired taste for me, but it helped that I was relatively bored of US hip hop by then...even the less mainstream acts like Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, old Lupe Fiasco etc. Aussie has a backyard relatable quality to it that you can't find in rap from another country; also helps if you mix with people who like it too. It might sound or look silly, but in the same light, so does an Aussie kid in his car, rapping along to a 50 cent song about American landmarks etc.!
  12. How many litres did you fill it up with? I'm guessing around 50 litres, in which case that's pretty normal economy for a Skyline. And if it hasn't been done, changing the oxygen sensor can help your fuel economy. But I wouldn't be bother if you net around 400km from 50 litres. A light will come on when the needle is near the E and you'll still have 20km or so left. It's a 60 litre tank.
  13. Most Aussie rap isn't about stuff like that, which is why many move to it from / prefer it to the American stuff, cause it's not just the same old "life was shit as a dealer and a killer, but look at me now, I got a contract and a Maybach, later haters". That being said, even when the lyrics are "woe is me", you don't have to be black and growing up in Detroit/Brooklyn/Crenshaw to have a hard upbringing. Plenty of abusive families, violence and homeless people in Australia!
  14. It's past 105.1, and there's no need to ever go past 105.1 on the FM band.
  15. Scaling Mount Everest that day, sorry Simon
  16. Delivers a hefty laugh http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/422566-tommy-kaira-17-inch-3-piece-signature-rims-for-sale/
  17. What better place to remind people they should be squatting?
  18. Oh yeah, they had a boxing ring and an MMA octagon too! Some fking units training there. Huge juicer seated shoulder pressing 120kg like it was an empty bar.
  19. Was on holidays in south west Victoria last week. Dropped in to the Corio branch of Derrimut 24/7; what an amazing gym! This place is only $400 a year and $5 for a casual visit. So many benches, so many squat racks. About 50 treadmills/steppers too (no exaggeration). They are like Bunnings sized gyms. Favourite part was the squat rack section and deadlift platform (with bumper plates), which is fenced off with barbed wire and has a hearty slogan graffitied on the wall:
  20. This reminds me of a scene from Hall Pass
  21. Don't say that word lol, you will get in trouble.
  22. Dat air con opposite my bedroom door
