  1. Yo Troy man, was Googling up on my frequently cracking knees (when I get up from a seated or lying position)...saw this article, which talks about something similar to what you may be experiencing with squats. http://blogs.menshealth.com/muscle-guy/is-it-bad-that-my-knees-crack-when-i-squat/2011/
  2. No good mate. A mate of mine has Crohn's disease and it plays havoc on his back apparently.
  3. lol bikes exacerbate them. Do deadlifts; strengthen back; ride without ever getting a sore back. What'd ya do to it anyway?
  4. You know where the cool restaurants are at home, though. Food is subjective...I've loved all the places we've eaten at...cept maybe one. Most of the world eats meat; I doubt catering to everyone's taste is even a criterion in earning a chefs hat. Hell I don't like some of the food served at some very reputable places and wouldn't even eat it but I wouldn't say the place is shit when I haven't / can't even eat the mainstay of their food/menu that they are famous for.
  5. Because everytime I go to take you to an awesome place the vegetarian option on the menu isn't good enough or you already had that the night before and we leave! Like I said, if you want awesome veg only food we can do that - I've taken you to places that I know are great for people who eat meat; also taken you to places that I haven't tried before for the sake of trying something new for both. Reality is, it's a bit hard to pull off anything when one person likes mostly meat and the other won't touch it Our city has a rep for playing host to some of the best restaurants in the world...which counts for nothing if you can't eat most of the stuff they whip up there.
  6. If you recall, we were going to go to Chin Chin on the night of our beach visit, but Aaron and Jess bailed and it was getting late so we called it off. We've been to plenty of awesome restaurants in Melbourne, the biggest issue of all is that they are awesome for people who eat meat...like most restaurants. I can take you to plenty of well known / reputable vegetarian places...I just won't eat anything there!
  7. Now to wore up the peripherals and get dat 3dmark score.
  8. PC built! Fk it's quick to assemble them these days. Everything so modular and easy. Windows installation / boot up on SSD is a joke too. Thanks to Leigh for helping me with it!
  9. Congrats, what weight was that done at?
  10. Ishan next Friday we'll go for a ride with Leigh. Buy a scala G9 headset too.
  11. When you see it...
  12. She said 1500 no...which means it's something else...we just don't know what yet.
  13. Is it better than the Oreo flurry? Haven't tried yet but may make a trip up there after chicken.
  14. Fk you man...my prosciutto wrapped chicken doesn't look as tasty now P.S. put the flurry in the freezer, don't let that shit melt while you eat the burgers
  15. When I drove one of these I was quite disappointed after all the hype they got. My GTS-T with exhaust did indeed feel quicker. Could have been a shoebox though...the guy was running it straight off the turbo no air filter lol
  16. Also the longer you do it the more you can develop bad habits or get lazy with your riding. Sometimes learners are the safest...other times they are the most dangerous. Lots of variables. One thing for sure though, no one ever died just from getting their Ls, so you should! There's just nothing like the blurriness / slowing of time you get from riding a super sport!
  17. From what I'm reading on forums, most issues with MSY surround customer service in initial sales at particular outlets, i.e. usually noobs not having a clue what they are buying and walking in looking for the Harvey Norman experience. It's just an in and out parts supplier and that's why they are cheaper than anyone else / popular with a lot of computer techs. There have been issues with warranty dealings in the past, but the ACCC cracked down on them hard and fined them big for it a few years ago. I can't speak from much from personal experience...it wouldn't matter anyway, cause everyone seems to have their own good or bad story and it seems to differ from store to store...but the guy I dealt with yesterday was pretty friendly, even carried some stuff out to my car for me. And that's how I like to shop...no fuss, no upselling or anything...just go in there knowing what you want and come out with it.

Dude will prolly get cancer soon, but he's not the only flamin mongrel out at Knox tmu
  19. Was just saying the EVO pro is $40 more for around same size; only difference is the pro will preserve data for 60-70 years vs 17-20 for the standard EVO. I'm free tomorrow if you wanna tackle it then?
  20. Did you try for 130 though? Can find 1RM calculators all over the internet. For most part they are fairly accurate. Obviously there's variance with some people being better at 1RM than they are at volume reps, but x reps at z weight generally does equal 1 rep at y weight. As an example, I never used to do singles/1RM. Only ever trained with reps on bench. Then used a calculator to guess it, gave the 1RM a shot and only just got it up. Pretty good guess!
  21. They are mad fun to drive in n/a underpowered form, I can only imagine the wicked times I would have in a charged one. That being said, going from 86 to my R33 makes it feel like a brutal race car.
  22. Meh there's always VCAT, which is just down the road from MSY lol. They are even cheaper than PCCG; I saved about $100 in my build by going with MSY. Hopefully the risk pays off! Do you really need to preserve your data for more than 17 years? Just get the standard EVO.
  23. I reckon Nuna Toyota could do it as an upgrade to existing 86s. Wonder if they warranty it though? Will report back later, plus with expected power figures. In the states they've been getting 500hp+ out of the engine without it popping. They are apparently very strong.
  24. Fair enough, it's still quite good numbers really. And 116 for ~7 reps is fantastic. That'd be around 130kg 1RM. Good idea playing it safe; I should probsbly subscribe to similar logic rather than trying to break old records with a recovering shoulder. I just feel like I don't have the unbreakable plateau there that I did 9 months ago. Not even using whey protein these days! Just eating better food than I used to, and more of it.
