Had fun against one of these tonight, sounded tough as being driven like it was stolen. Tint too dark to see potential apex member...

Iridiums aren't a total scam per se, they do last for many times longer than normal plugs do...but the assumption made by the marketing claim is that they aren't going into a high performance car. A daily driver can use iridiums and will probably not notice a degradation after 50,000km etc. because performance decreases aren't as obvious nor are the plugs performing in an extreme environment. Iridiums wear like copper plugs do, but will retain say 70-80% of their performance after 10,000km, unlike the latter. This is useless in a high performance environment where you want plugs to be delivering 95%+ and as Iridiums can't do that any better than copper, better off saving your money.

I think we're all overlooking the ease of selling houses to people already buying them

At the moment the people who appear to me to be ripping off the most are specialists in the medical profession. First visit literally a 5 minute consultation with a few background questions that could have been answered by me filling out a form = $250. Even with $150 paid by Medicare that's extortion of the highest order.

What the hell is a stage 2 clutch? If that bears any reference to a twin plate clutch, please don't learn to drive with one...you will kill it...they aren't meant to be slipped let alone learned on. Go get a few professional driving lessons so you can trash their car instead; money spent on this will be money saved on you destroying your more expensive components. They have dual control vehicles, so safer environment to learn in and experience teaching teenagers how to drive a manual, so can more than likely teach you too! As others have said, don't worry about heel and toe etc. That stuff comes in time. When I was 16 all I wanted to do was learn to drive manual and I failed hard on the first drive with parents; couldn't get the hang of it. Embarrassed that I might never learn the "fun" way to drive but my friends could. First lesson with a professional driver and he laughed off the idea of me saying I couldn't drive manual (may he RIP...no, I didn't kill him with my driving). Within 5 minutes he had me taking off smoothly and changing gears no problems. I now consider myself the smoothest operator...a master of launches and wifi changes...and yes I heel and toe when the situation calls for it (note: rarely, and this impresses no one but yourself). P.S. Smooth is fast!

nsw/act 2001 R34 GTR M-Spec #185
Birds replied to GTR ZOAH's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Oooophhh...my 33R used to belong to the owner of Auto Style...probably suffered a similar fate Still, I always say judge an import by the condition and health of the engine as the odometer reading means very little especially dealing with 15+ year old cars! glws- 12 replies

Because having two turbos doesn't automatically make the car better or faster by any means, just complicates the setup. For a car that was originally single turbo you are better off just upgrading that turbo and ending up with the same result as if you went twin. I recommend doing some reading on turbochargers and the various setups as it's not only interesting stuff but will help you to understand what works well and what doesn't.

Yep, got the call wrong on that, but had 88E not released an announcement that confused the market then prices would still be the same or possibly higher. Regardless I think it's dangerous not to be in the share at the moment. Whatever you pay for them now will seem insignificant if the flow is proven good.
