Hi mate, Need more info on this to diagnose...some questions you can answer: 1. When you changed from 5th to 4th what happened...did you lose drive in 4th? 2. How did you "idle" it to the side of the road? Just coasting or in one of the gears? 3. Do any of the gears work including reverse? If not, then input shaft could be snapped, clutch exploded or diff/tailshaft problem. 4. Does the car make any noises while idling in neutral? Does this change when you push the clutch in and out?

Your PM doesn't seem to be working...just a heads up in case any buyers try to contact you directly. Sorry to derail, but your car looks great - may I ask who details it? Numberplates suggest to me you might be a detailer or sell detailing products? Or a professional hair removalist...er... Cheers -
Did contemplate D1Rs for a short period of time... Why is that amazing? Gotta protect your distributors...actually surprised you can buy direct from the brand.

88E taking a sharp kick in the nuts for no rational reason other than a lack of news expected for the next couple weeks. It did this last time we drilled a well, so kind of expected this to happen a couple weeks ago but it didn't...better late than never right lol Some people did convert millions of options so they might have sold to profit take Other than this the only possible explanation is that dezz bought some more shares

I would agree with this but their Hippocratic oath dictates they'll even save the life of a terrorist One of my friends was called to an OD for the same person three weeks in a row, now that's a waste of resources

People moving from speed to ice and ice becoming a regular or dependence drug rather than recreational use, has increased from what I've read. I think hospitals are seeing more incidence of it too, even if general use of the drug in the broader population hasn't increased substantially.

Preaching to the choir mate, I've dated nurses and my friends are paramedics...like I said, I've heard the stories. The narrative of the ads is "and this is how you treat me", not "how they treat me". Public awareness not going to stop ice addicts or the mentally ill from lashing out at people, angry family members etc. It's sadly always been part of the job and getting worse because of drugs etc. These are inherently violent people or not of sound mind. Money better spent on security measures to protect said people; equip them with the powers and tools to better deal with those situations IMO.

If a vehicle is factory fitted with an airbag then it's unroadworthy to replace it with a non airbag wheel I think
-
I've heard all the stories, just think the ads are terrible. I also highly doubt the kind who act out violently towards those helping them are the type of rational minded people who will pay attention...not unlike domestic violence campaigning.

Am I the only one who laughs at these healthcare worker anti-violence ads? Proper issue these workers face, but the ads just seem funny to me; maybe shit acting

I have thought about this and I'm sure it's true for fans of 80s and 70s vehicles who won't enjoy what the 90s cars had to offer over and above their older siblings - fuel injection, power steering etc. I think you could argue, however, that beyond the 90s, driver aids, comfort, safety and DSGs etc. started really messing with the classic driving formula. It would be interesting to know where someone older, whose favourite cars belong in the 70s and 80s, feels that the line was crossed. For me it was early 2000s with the last of the grey imports, both in styling and driving setup.

I guess what I wanna know most, without test driving one, is if they suffer from that soulless feeling I always refer to with new cars that seem to be either too comfortable, teched out, or simply removed from the driving experience. Megane 265 and 86 are the closest I've felt to what I would call sporty in a modern offering. My experiences are limited...

Are Golf Rs fun to drive? Do they shine as an all rounder or work better around corners / straight line? Challenging or suffer from point and shoot evo syndrome?

This and police have discretionary powers in all the wrong places - raising revenue, do what you like, stopping a violent criminal, paperwork and evidence needed.

In a sensible world this would work But modifications (aftermarket ECU, more than one intake mod etc.) have been deemed illegal irrespective of the actual CO emissions of the car, hence you won't pass. Ash found this out when his RB26 R31 put out less emissions than the factory levels - emissions being too low were how they discovered he had an aftermarket ECU. Test failed. EPA logic.

A not so nice cop will let the EPA deal with it alone / all you have to do is clear it at a workshop A real prick will give you a NOU based on the EPA violation which means getting a RWC too Pettett will give you the $700 fine to go with the NOU

Performance shop is one business I would never be in lol. Wait til customers start throwing eBay parts at you and expecting them to work / blaming you for them not, or telling you they can get stuff done cheaper elsewhere!

Incoming tl;dr Workshops have a lien over vehicles, where they can keep it until you've paid the bill, so not paying isn't an option unless you wanna fk around with VCAT...thus leaving a project half way through leaves you out of pocket, with a project that other workshops will be reluctant to finish for you and won't guarantee the work on. Not to mention logistics of moving a car with no engine and the engine itself. When workshops have work queuing out the door they won't care about your ultimatum - they'll tell you to come get it and pay what you owe. I think that they should be upfront with new customers, but the problem with being completely honest is you send all your customers to your competitors who do essentially the same thing and win the business with false promises of doing it sooner. Barry never gave me exact timeframes and a lot of workshops who do these jobs secondary to their normal business won't agree to exact timeframes. Can't comment on other workshops, but how it is for Edge: Barry is quick with urgent matters and repairs - did the head gasket on my daily GTS-T in the space of a week and has helped me out with a lot of other things too, at no cost. Also awesome to just hang with him and other customers/friends for hours on a Saturday talking cars and shit - it's like a family (inb4 hijacking trucks in Skylines). Project cars and performance modifications are secondary business for him...building engines at 2am etc...and there's a queue of these about a mile long to get through, for good reason - he has a reputation for reliable and cheap work. He doesn't do these kind of projects for money; they aren't profitable like the RWC and general servicing which is mainstay of the business. He does them for the love of cars, as an enthusiast, hence project completion times border on DIY enthusiast project times. Throw in young family and I'm surprised he's there as much as he is. But after decades of working on these cars he still gets excited about dyno figures and big/new turbos, drag races, Toyota vs Nissan etc. He's also got amazing knowledge and precision with RB engines, which for many is worth the wait. I always give workshops their own time and space to do things - got a free full respray with this attitude. And once Barry does eventually get to your engine/car, stuff gets done reasonably quickly. Can't speak for everyone else, but I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I'm 50/50...yes I'd love to have my car back, but I also don't have fantastic storage at the moment and buying a house means I can do without a sizeable bill for a while. Paying rego sucks on a car you can't drive, but still cheaper than storage and the car is increasing in value, so negated somewhat. I'm in no rush.
