I thought the old rule of thumb was 2gm protein per kg of bodyweight? 2gm per lb seems a little excessive unless you're bulking?

Frankly, I'd be more concerned about the church being so close to a school

It's probably like that phenomena where once you've done something you start to notice it everywhere

Besides the fact she's old and probably thinking of Clayton in the 90s when it was dodgy Oakleigh's best friend, lol @ you getting passionate about the suburb's gentrification cause you bought a house in it. Back in Boronia we owned our shit stains.

Every car appearing on this page is a god awful looking piece of shit that is scarce for good reason beyond rarity

Respect for replicas that are well done or allow average joe to enjoy the look and feel of one Mind boggling is when the replica cost more to build than the real thing; when DIY becomes near artwork or an exercise to see if it can be done. Always admired this 996 replica, which started life as a Calibra of all things

Waaaaaait wait Mr. anti-status symbol, forget what others think of your replica haha

Factorio hey...someone made a game out of Patrick's job? Sandstorm is impressive until you see in game video call I'm 50/50 on these things. They are very impressive in the skill and manpower required to literally build a virtual computer. But what it boils down to is that the above is effectively a crappy version of Skype within an operating system called minecraft. Not to detract from them, but all they are doing is a virtual version of what people did decades and decades ago in the physical world...who were / still are the real geniuses and many manpowers. I guess the amazement comes from repurposing software and hardware for alternative uses, not unlike that guy who loaded Doom up on his Apple MacBook bar.

On the topic of IT, watching YouTube today it's incredible the chipsets and systems people are replicating within minecraft...put AI into that and hello Skynet

Nothing like a bad code you already have a fix for though Bit like Kaspersky and their ransomware decryption tools...I don't know much about 256 encryption but I thought the whole point was that it would take a supercomputer millions of years to decrypt /tinfoil

Cars as a status symbol is too complex a subject to make any sweeping generalisations about it. It's almost strictly case by case. Too many variables. One example comes to mind - my old CEO who drives a Ford Ranger and has about 200mil to his name. It means some to others and nothing to some.
-
That's what I would fear It's one thing to have a 3.3 twin turbo in it, but another to be engineered the way the Nissans and Toyotas of the 90s were with tough bottom ends and components spec'd beyond their requirements.

Haha most DIY is a waste of time unless you just truly enjoy it and the learning process. It's almost always cheaper to pay someone to do it better than you.

There's points to both sides of this. I am fortunate that my employers don't care what car I drive. However, there are some industries where a car is no different to a suit and will be used to judge your success and personality even if the assumptions are off-point. I don't envy these - it's a job expense as far as I'm concerned. You wear an ill-fitting cheap suit and it rubs off on your image, ala Hamish if he were to drive a 33 again...in spite of the gingham shirt. And if Alex drove around in anything less than a Lexus people might think real estate agents aren't pretentious dbags and we can't have that.

Best way to learn... Also nothing motivates you like "you won't get to work tomorrow if you don't fix this tonight" When I worked at a workshop and did things to my car, if I didn't fix it that night I wouldn't make it home lol...never once got stuck there...
-
Gauge/cluster doesn't come into my consideration at all when buying a car, unless it's stupidly high and indicates heavy use. You can't trust the cars let alone the owners and most car owners don't know shit about their cars anyway. I've dealt with some great and honest people, and also some shifty/dodgy looking people and some of my best finds have oddly come from the latter. But lol, the number of people selling cars who I've actually helped diagnose engine and gearbox problems for... Just go over everything yourself, do the comp tests etc. and / or get stateroads to inspect I say.

Some guy already wants drug money for his well kept 33R series 3 in the for sale section. I don't think he'll get 55k for it, and it really doesn't look that special, but if people are starting to ask that much for a clean example then it's a sign of things to follow on from the obscene 34R prices. Mine without an engine is insured for about 26k. inb4 Leigh's switch to a Falcon was a financial downgrade?

Disingenous...waiting for modifications is hardly a state of being broken Also wager being a VAG product that vehicle more likely broke down on the drive home
